No offense but that's a pretty warped panorama. Very cool idea though.

RO2 isn't exactly a screenshot-friendly game, but it is awesome. Here my brothers in arms and I are being hit by artillery.

I have RO2, but I got suffocated by all the bugginess and stopped playing. Wonder if it's any better now. :mischief:

I've played ~16 hours now, no bugs except being stuck in a ruined doorway

They fixed most of the bugs months ago through constant patching culminating in the "GOTY" update months ago.

I'd say RO2 is screenshot friendly, but the the best shots are pretty much after you're dead or of arty landing, because of the forced perspective of looking down the gun to zoom in. That and the cool flame effects on dead tanks.

Oh and some servers have really frequent names popping up over friendlies. Detracts from the coolness.

I love this map so much :)

What game is that?

Looks like the original Day of Defeat.

yes it's day of defeat 1.5

I bought it on steam for a few euro's, because I played it a lot when I was younger.

Spoiler Bace I en route to the Mun: :

Spoiler Landing Bace II with no fuel was tricky :

I hit the surface at ~22m/s and bounced around a bit, thankfully managed to pull it down.

Pretty sure you had to break a few laws of physics to get that into orbit :P

I've seen videos of truly monstrous things being launched into space in KSP. Its kinda cool, but I actually hope the developers will implement proper aerodynamics and etc eventually - bigger challenge :)

Build a lander like mine, except don't make it weigh 15 tons.

I've played around a little with KSP, and now I'm getting good at orbiting, and using my fuel more efficiently for maneuvers, but going to the Mun and getting back is still daunting. I figured I'd make a Kerbin-orbit stage, a propel-to-Mun stage, a lander stage, and a return stage, but that's a lot of material.
