The glorious Japanese empire, one month into the war against the Allies (March '42)

Pretty proud of it so far, as it's my first ever game as the Japanese in HoI2. Defeated a massive American task force near Eniwetok, destroying three of their carriers! Yay me!
 
pssh, busy playing as the japanese instead of defending the Reich....

not that I'm complaining, I'm busy playing Rock manager instead of leading the scots to a victory over the danes....
 
You certainly took an interesting route into India, Kan. :crazyeye:
 
China is my puppet now, and I had troops in the north-west taking over some remaining states. Figured they should stay for the war in India - they were in Delhi within two months :D

yeah... should have seen how impressive it was last time i pulled off a european tour

however my backup guitarist decided to complain, cancelled the trip just before we got to moscow, and we would have made TONS of money in Moscow..

needless to say when the trip was done I had him killed, he was replaced by the guy with the red eyes, I hired him because his voice reminded me of cookie monster, and for a metal band, thats needed
 
It's a fun blast, but nowhere near the massive 'full freedom' hype that I believe was built up in advance. It's very linear, probably less so than several RPG's on the PC :)
