I've been outside the Civ4 community for a while, has there been any word on the SDK that would supposedly remove most of the hardcoding? I've been pondering the idea of a second-tier epoch system(the first being the packaged Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, etc.) dealing with Kardashev Scale, expanding into orbital satelites, space stations, extraplanetary colonization, and the like, but without rather good access to the hardcoding, that'd be damn near impossible.
