Darius, leader of the Persians, came to Ramesses asking if they would teach the Persians about Civil Service. Darius states that his people 'needed' it, and would be unhappy if Ramesses said no. Ramesses, seeing he has a slowly declining relationship with the Persians, decided to teach them to help heal the rift.
Ramesses also wanted to expand west into the land that once belonged to Carthage. Knowing this would raise the maintenance cost even more, he would lower his scientific output when his gold stores lowered to 780.
Ramesses also noticed that the increased science production from 70% and 80% wasn't much of a difference.
Very shortly after, Ramesses was taking a stroll in Thebes when he noticed the construction site for the University of Sankore had magically transformed into piles of gold after hearing it has already been built somewhere else.
Ramesses was furious! He wanted some other wonder in Egypt other than Stonehenge, but there was nothing he could do.
Ramesses also returned the science rate to 70%, because he did not like losing gold.
Guilds would still be finished researching at the same time.
New lands also came to Egypt. These new lands were the Viking Union and Portugal, who both liked Egypt enough to open borders to trade with them.
Tales were also spread around Aksum about a large grouping of natives to the south. Ramesses sent his last war chariot to explore these rumors, and would give news to his people once the war chariots sent a report about this village.
The tales were found to be true, and Egyptian war chariots found a settlement of natives near a large source of gems to the south of Aksum.
Researchers also came to Ramesses to inform them that they had reached a dead end. Their research for Banking would have to be set back another 15 years, but they assured Ramesses that they would master this topic eventually.
The impis that were protecting Mombasa, or as it was heard to be called moved to the south and only left behind a warrior to protect this village. The war chariots presumed this action to be leaving to protect another settlement to the south, but they could only assume. War chariots easily defeated the warrior and took the city.
Ramesses also had to lower the science output to deal with the maintenance cost, but with this new revenue he felt he could build another city and still be able to stay at 60% scientific research.
