Edit! I have added something unheard of in this thread: a 4th choice! If you have voted, please reread the decisions and Choice #4 to see if it changes your vote.
It turned out that Ramesses did not even need to send explorers up north to meet these new civilizations; they came to Egypt themselves. Among these new civilizations were Persia, France, and Germany. They all liked Egypt enough to open borders with them. That made Ramesses happy, as he knew that not every civilization hated him.
Also, it turned out that he could not build the Apostolic Palace in time, as somewhere else built it. Ramesses was also given a choice on who to vote for to be the leader. He voted for Alexander instead of Louis XIV, as he felt Alexander was more of a buddy to him than France.
Voting for Alexander caused Alexander to even be friendly with the Egyptian Kingdom, which was great to know, as Egypt finally had a great friend again after Rome collapsed.
Spoiler:
Louis XIV, the kind of ugly leader of France came to Ramesses for a trade. He would teach the Egyptians the rest of the information needed to master Feudalism, and a small sum of gold, for the knowledge of Papyrus.
Ramesses accepted, as he needed the gold and science. His kingdom may be on the top of the last, but he was starting to lag behind in the science department.
Spoiler:
To the southwest of Egypt, yet another civilization was forming on the River Niger. They called themselves the Mali, and were quite friendly. They were already willing to open borders and trade maps with Egypt when they had just met each other. Ramesses was happy to meet a friendly new empire that was near his land.
Ramesses had looked at his stability again, and found that his foreign relations had balanced out, and it turned out his economy was falling in stability. This worried Ramesses, but he could not do any immediate action as the economy takes a little bit of time to fix.
Spoiler:
A Carthaginian man had ran into Abydos in a panic. Mokhetek (just came up with something), the governor of Abydos, asked why this man was in a panic, and he learned that a Carthaginian city was taken by the barbarians. Mokhetek gave this news to Ramesses, and Ramesses could only sent 50 gold pieces to the people of Carthage, as a gift to help them cover the cost to train more units to take their city back.
Also, Ramesses checked his stability once more, and saw that his economy was no longer falling. Ramesses was happy. He only needed something to improve, and Egypt would once again be stable. This was good news, as Ramesses was worrying about his nation.
Spoiler:
More northern nations came to meet with Ramesses. These new civilizations were Spain, England, and Russia. Spain did not trust Egypt enough to even open borders with them for trade, but England did, and Russia was as well. Ramesses was starting to get overwhelmed with unattractive-mustached leaders of northern nations, so he hoped there would not be too many more. But on the maps that he received from Greece earlier, he saw one orange nation to the north, that Ramesses worried would have an ugly mustache as well.
Ramesses, tired of these "European" (or so they called their landmass) mustached leaders, decided to end his ruling for the day. He sat back, and was proud of his new deals with other nations, and the fixing stability of Egypt.
SC Decision!
Spoiler:
With all these new nations forming, what is Egypt to do?
1) Continue working the land, and conducting friendly trade with new nations, also, lower the science output to gain more money after trading some of our gold storage
2) Continue working the land, ignore the nations to the north a little, and focus on building some offensive units in case of an attack from Arabia
3) Continue working the land, and focus on building more workers so we can work the Egyptian land a little faster
4) Continue working the land, build a galley in Giza, and an explorer to get around Arabia to explore some of this land to the north, and see what is really up there. Also, if needed, trade some more with these new nations to make them a bit friendlier to us
5) Continue working the land, ignore the lands to the north, and give a small sum of gold to Mali so that they can become a civilization that can grow, and become a buddy of Egypt.
