Server Info & Turn Tracker

There is only 21 min.
Who is at turn?
And did he make it?

Currently Kaz is up and they should make it just fine. many hours (days if they need :( ) to unpause and play.

Hopefully you did not unpause the game.

There is 34 minutes ad 34 seconds on the game clock. (which is approx 1 minute after I had paused as Kaleb logged in and did some moves then logged out.)

Civstats is never totally accurate with a pause.

Yeah, really sorry this isn't done already - thanks for bearing with us (hopefully there's no diplo screen waiting for us when I login...)

At long last, we're done. Sorry for the delay

Saturn is up

Dual-posted this in the patch thread.

I think that patching on a turn roll is a good idea. Changing in the middle of a turn is unlikely to result in an advantage or disadvantage, but the fewer things there are to make claims about the better. :)

I suggest that MS (most likely HUSch) should stay online after hitting enter, and pause when it starts taking inputs again. Then PM me to say it's ready (I'll get a notification on my Blackberry) and I'll start it back up on the new patch level, unpause, and post in the tracker thread.

Note: Reading Memphus's other posts, reloading from the autosave might have undone some actions. I took the precaution of making a save before shutting down and restarting since it was still active. If the right thing to do is to keep the actions then the state from after the port closed can be reloaded instead. However this will leave 5 hours on the clock (vs the 13 available now).

Please PM and post here if the later save is needed.

The save taken before closing the game down will certainly be needed, provided that it has gotten all of our moves saved; during the last login was when SANCTA did all of the attacking moves, and replicating those, while possible, might take awhile. The lack of time isn't a problem for us, the turn was basically finished, all that was needed was one last check before ending the turn.

Sure they are, if the same actions are preformed exactly in the same order, it is the same random seed after all... That said getting ginger ale to confirm by checking their forum would be nice...

The game should be reloaded from the save taken before the server restart, since there is a save it was a mistake from he beggining to load the auto save.

We can do that if it makes everyone feel better. I am around all day so If Dave loads up from his save I can go in and hit "enter".

Replaying battles is not good and results are never 100% the same, even if that means only health left in units.

Yes they are, and they were. I even had the :strength: left on the units recorded in our thread, and it all matched.

What shoul I do then?

On the advice of Sullla in the turn discussion thread, looks like we can continue without reloading again. I did take an extra save right now in case it's needed for posterity.

Now it is MS' turn.

I 've played, now Dave can change to the new patch. If not the eot comes with the time.
