"Server too busy"

Good thing I read this post, I was going to start a new thread on this. :D
But please bring it back, I use it all the time...

Some people were not so lucky...

I was trying to read a thread and got this... The forum upgrade SUPPOSEDLY helped... I included the system's clock so you can see that it was today...

Just thought I'd point it out... :D

Um, have you been paying attention to the rest of Site Feedback lately? ;)

I think he's too busy laughing at his post. ;)

Maybe he is trying to trick us? I'm sure he must have changed his clock settings as surely those error messages no longer appear? ;)

No. :goodjob:
Pages load *very* quickly once again, only processing new posts seem to take some time now sometimes.

Yep, same here; no problems so far. :goodjob:

I wonder if I'll ever get to stop having to worry about copy-and-pasting the text of my posts before clicking the "submit reply" button. Does anyone else do this? Sometimes I find myself doing it on forums that have never had server troubles. :D

A few days ago I didn´t copy to paste ..got server too busy...thought I had to post again and when that page loaded there was my post TWICE....(Padma knows what I´m talking about ;) )

If it's too busy, hit the back button and HOPEFULLY it will be intact. But when you're logged out and you're in your own style, and you have to log in, dammit, your post is LOST!

Today I have just had one or two moments of slowness but it might just be me.

Yeah. . . I've gotten really good at clicking on the post, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C real quick to save it before losing it.

Had one today, thought I was going to lose my post, but it showed up.

Overall, tho, I haven't had a server busy message or the dredded MySQL message since the upgrade. No, I take that back, on server busy message. During the middle of the day (USA - CST) so I was thinking that was why. But I must say, the upgrade was most welcome.

It's because I've turned off the forum's load management feature... It no longer displays that server busy message. Instead you will just experience slowness (or too many connections error) when server load is high. If I turn it back on you will still get server busy messages sometimes because the server load sometimes spikes to 20.
