Setting automated worker priorities???

Is there any way to set the priority of automated worker actions? It seems they clear jungle first...then build roads then railroads then irrigate. I would like if it were possible to increase mine building in hills and mountains...that seems to be the last thing they do...usually by the time I get Demo and Replaceable Parts I want to pump up production with rail and mines. It takes huge amounts of micro management to achieve this goal. Any suggestions?

I must have close to 50 right now....it's working (pun). I just wondered.

I have found that despite being a pain in the rear at times, it's best to micro manage most of your workers, even the SHIFT/CTRL functions seem to only use 2 workers per square for a task.
