Your religious institution tells you to do so. Not all kids share your beliefs.

Incorrection, it was not my religious institution that tells me nor taught me that.

I was actualy taught abstanance in High School in a Public School mind you. Years before I became a Religious person.

Public schools can't teach reading, writing and arithmetic properly. I am not worried about sex education.

Mine as well show them how to do it safely.

'Come here Mr Principal' says Mrs Teacher, 'now kids see how i pop open the package....'

Sex in the classroom, even safe sex, what an xxx-rated idea the kid'll loe it! :goodjob:

Is that from choice...?
Let's just say it was forced upon me when I was growing up and I am not the attractive one in my peers.

Well there you go, but the horny little bastards who are bearable to look at are gonna bang no matter what, beleive me, we knew everything about sex way before sex ed, and we all about aids and all that jazz, and most kids by the time we were taught it who were gonna have sex, already had sex.

The question is CG, if you could at this moment go forth and have sex, would you?

Abstinence is usually for those who can't get any. The moment they can get it, they abandon abstinence (ususally)

I'm a good Christian so I would try not engage in this. But I admit that if I got far enough into a situation, I very well might forsake my teachings. How we're to expect my nonreligious, messed up peers to do better? No idea.

messed up? :(

You think you're better than the nonreligious?

No I think he was reffering to his peers who were just "messed up" in general, not specifically non religious.

If many schools can't even teach basic elementary studies correctly, I'd hate to see them mess up a child's sex education. I say leave sex education to the parents, not the state.

I meant the druggies, ghetto kids, flunkers, emos, etc. People who generally don't make the best decisions.

I would most certainly would if a woman would give me the time of day.

(and not to mention overcoming the fear of rejection)
