Here some ideas on how to implement new sex-based civics, techs, specialist, building and wonders:

1. NEW CIVICS

Mating Civics
  1. Matriarchy/Patriarchy
  2. Monogamy
  3. Poliandry
  4. Poliginy
  5. Free Love

Sex Civics
  1. Prostitution
  2. Sexual Slavery
  3. Sex Caste System
  4. Decency
  5. Legal Prostitution
Matriarchy/Patriarchy are the default mating civics -- they represent tribal mating customs & rituals, and have no effect on gameplay.
Monogamy/Poligamy/Poliginy represent more advanced forms of legalised mating patterns; you will be forced to choose one of those after the discovery of Legal Marriage (with the AI’s being randomly assigned). They affect diplomacy in single player, e.g. you get a diplo bonus with civs sharing the same legal mating system, and a malus otherwise. (Has no effect in multiplayer.) You may switch among Monogamy, Poligamy and Poliginy but only at a considerable cost (e.g. a “sexual revolution” that lasts for 4 turns.)

Free love gives a happiness boost but non-free-love civs will despise you (“-3 Your civilization is corrupt”). Also, populace without free love may be unhappy ("We demand sexual emancipation!")

Prostitution is the default sex civic, with no effect. The other’s are as follows:
  • Sexual slavery: for each population point you whip in a given city, you temporarily add a sex entertainer (see below) in your capital.
  • Sex Caste System: no limit to the number of sex entertainers in each city.
  • Decency: no sex entertainers allowed; +2 Health in all cities.
  • Legal Prostitution: sex entertainers earn +1 gold.

2. NEW SPECIALISTS:
  • Sex entertainer: +2 happy, -1 health, +1 GP point. City more likely to generate Great Lover (see below).
  • Geisha: unique sex entertainer, available to Japan only.

3. NEW TECHNOLOGIES:
  • Legal Marriage: disables the Matriarchy/Patriarchy civic and enables Monogamy, Polinadry and Poliginy.
  • Kamasutra: reveals aphrodisiacs (a new tradable resource) and enables the World Wonder 'Temples of Khajuraho'.
  • Feminism: enables Free Love.
  • Sex Toys: enables a new building, 'Sex Shops.'
  • Birth Control Pill: enables the 'Avoid Growth' button.
  • Viagra: the first do discover this gets "blue pills", which in gameplay terms work like hit singles, hit movies, etc. Obsoletes aphrodisiacs.

4. NEW BUILDINGS
  • Brothel: +2 sex entertainers, -1 health.
  • Sex shop.

5. NEW GREAT MAN/WOMAN

Great Lover (Sappho, Don Giovanni, Casanova, Rodolfo Valentino, etc.). Moves on land without restrictions and it’s invisible like a spy.
(1) Can be added to a city as a sex super-specialist.
(2) Can light bulb a sex-based technology
(3) Love affair with enemy leader: Once he/she reaches an opponent's administrative centre (e.g. Palace, Forbidden Palace or Versailles), can be ‘exploded’ to grant a permanent "+10 You have sex appeal!" diplo bonus. The sex (male/female) of each great lover is randomly generated. Great Lovers can only affect leaders of the opposite sex (with one exception: Alexander).
(4) Power of Seduction: can seduce an opponent's great person. This means that the great person abandons the opponent's city and appears (at random) in one of your cities.

6. NEW WORLD WONDERS
  • Temples of Khajuraho
  • Moulin Rouge: free brothel in every city.
  • Playboy

7. NEW WORLD PROJECT
  • Internet porn: instantaneously grants all sex-based technologies.

8. NEW VICTORY CONDITION
  • Sex victory: be the first to assemble the Orgasmic Machine!
 
I actually think this is a brilliant idea. :goodjob:

A bit extreme, perhaps, but I'd love to see it in some mod. Is there a "funny mod"?

While it's funny, I dont really see them as social policies, can you imagine a campaigning party's manifesto asking people to vote for "sexual slavery".

Hello,

half of the ideas are slight inmature but the rest is well thought of. The sexual revolution of the 68er had no significant effect on the basic social indicators (welfare, education, growth rate) but the marriage rules certainly affect a society . There is no doubt.

A brothel building already exists in FFH (it is called 'Public Bath'), so why not in RFC and the prostitutes as Specialists also already exists in the 'Bad People Mod'
 
Is there room for spanking in these civics?

The Brothel could be a UB for the Babylonians, as they had a lot of templewhores, so...

I'd hazard a guess and say that I think the OP meant this as a joke. :)

No comments from me about this topic,
but people lets be real here, the mod is in its final phases and realistically anything (if anything) would be added it shouldn't be major, and I'd anticipate such an addition would unbalance the final release big time, it would require so much real-time bug fixing and balancing. And TBH, I don't see the topic worth adding, the mod is more than good enough now, and doesn't require such flagrant additions.
 
Of course this can't be added to this mod. But it is funny, I would like to see it in some other mod.
