That's interesting stuff to konw! It's in everyday life pretty much the same in Germany. But distictions are made sometimes.

So Greyfox is playing now - if he didn't come home too late - and you ChrTh will be playing somewhen in my wee hours? This means I might catch a few shots of the game before getting horizontal? Yes!?

Been in Bavaria myself for about ten years. Where have ya stayed. Would be keen to know. But maybe that's rather some talk for privat messages or Email ... since it doesn't really match the topic of the forum.

Ich bin doch ya Der Nederlander... Yes I get out to that part of the NETHERLANDS as well, just was in Dusseldorf 3 weeks ago... Al work and no play tho...
I parked the car, went in the office, out the office to the hotel, to the office, hotel, office, Car back home did over 40 hours in 3 days (not including driving)

Hey GreyFox ... Disappointed I am indeed. ... But getting drunk IS an acceptable reason for me. From time to time it has to happen. Honestly ... Congratulations on getting drunk. Hope you won't have a headache in the morning though .

@namliaM: Yeah I did reckon you're from around my corner. Is it just a few words in german ... oder geht da noch mehr? Well I should be careful since my dutch is ... Hold it ... ... I don't speak dutch at all.

I can read and understand german pretty good but "meine deutche sprache ist nicht so good" and my writting worse than that....

I have german coworkers that talk german to me, cause their English is no good. But I understand germand and the understand my English/German good enough to be able to communicate....

Ok, since I'm going now, here's my plan:
Tech-wise, I'm going to try to get Math and Metal Casting, presuming neither will take forever. Dot has a good idea about forge/colossus, especially since we'll end up having a lot of coastal cities, it appears.
Build-wise, I'm going to put in at least one new city on our continent; haven't decided which one yet, need to go back to the dot map and re-eval based on comments.
Cathy-wise, I will not be declaring war on my turn. Of course, I've said that before ...

You have about 4 hours to make any comments ...starting ....... NOW!

Personaly I dislike the town NW of thebes for the fish, I would make that 2 SW on that small river thing.

On new cities I think we should settle South (the sugar) ASAP to prevent Cathy from grabbing it again. Then the Dessert spot(s) East of Thebes.

We will want CoL pretty soon in my book, as well as CS (bureaucracy)

Cottage up thebes?! And/or all the FPs due east of it...

Oh and if you have time?! Generate the GE, and start on a GS... Meanwhile pick up Drama if you can

Of to bed now so no real discussion just my thoughts, hope you have a good set...

Oh allmost forget, dont give cathy Nara, uhm Nada that is.... Except maybe in trade, but I dont thing she will go for that...

A fourth point I would add to the list for war on Cathy...
IMHO we need to know the lay of the land beyond Cathy and find our peacefull partner in this game ASAP to know who is our friend and start building a relation with him/her.

I wouldnt be surprices, us beeing a waring race... that our partner would be a peacefull one, else domination might be to easy....

Edit: A screenshot of thebes cityscreen would be fine too. I'm not going to download the file. Otherwise I couldn't guarantee for anything ... would probably run into the same trap of overzealousness as namliaM
