A couple of suggestions:

-Build Barracks in Kyoto first, before explorers etc?
-Edo is working a plans hill mine - switch temporarily to farm or cottage to grow the population necessary for 3rd/4th scientist in time for Castes?

After techs exchange we shall receive many new opportunities, therefore it's necessary to optimize build queues in all cities!

I, too, wouldn't help the AIs along their way to macemen/crossbowmen by trading Metal Casting.
Inca has MC already, i think better save Compass (while we have monopoly) in stock.

None of the AIs have Alphabet so far, and even after they get Alphabet, the Incas won't be too willing to trade away their monopoly in military-branch Metal Casting.

Also, don't switch to CS yet.
It is better to freeze researches of CS during last moment.
I meant Caste System, not Civil Service. :crazyeye: We need to rush some more stuff before the switch IMHO. And don't start building courthouses everywhere, granaries and lighthouses (also cheap for us) should propably come first and maybe forges too.

Second part my session:
[4]
Techs trade
China: Currency + 10 gold <-> Metal Casting
Mongolia: Calendar + Hunting + 20 gold <-> Metal Casting
Mali: Code of laws + 30 gold <-> Metal Casting
Egypt: Monarchy + Masonry <-> Metal Casting

Set researh rate at 0%. Civil service started...

Production: Osaka switched to Granary, Kyoto to Corthouse, Barcelona to Lighthouse

[5] Pop-rush in Kyoto and Barcelona
Techs trade
Mali: Monoteizm + Archery + 70 gold <-> Monarchy

[6] We have constructed a Courthouse in Kyoto. Work has now begun on a Barraks.
We have constructed a Lighthouse in Barcelona. Work has now begun on a Granary.
The borders of Tokyo have expanded!

[7] The borders of Seville have expanded!

[8] Forge pop-rush in Madrid

[9] We have constructed a Forge in Madrid. Work has now begun on a Сourthouse, then Library.

[10] Сourthouse pop-rush in Madrid
Techs trade
Mongolia: Horseback riding <-> Code of laws :( has hurried...

Small note 1: if we switch to HRule, it will be possible set 6(!) scientists in Madrid.
Small note 2: One caravel is floating around of the world, another to take away the explorer from Kyoto.
Has met two barbs galleys, it's necessary to heal our caravel!

OK, well score!
What do you think about trading Alphbet to AI? In this case we will have more chances for trading Construction...

It is too late but I see just no point in trading MC instead of Compass. 5 enemies half-way to Machinery is much more intimidating than 1 enemy and 4 with Compass. Now we can enjoy incredible gains from our monopoly in Compass to its max... </sarcasm> Otherwise great progress.
It's not necessary to heal our caravels, you might just finish your turn in ocean and be safe.

All AI have Maths, it is just a matter of time they get Construction. Trading Alphabet will not speed it much (it allows them to spend less time on already known techs, but opens whole new branch of research), but might have unpleasant consequences for us = faster Machinery.

And, I think we need Construction earlier then Civil Service. In this case we can start building Catapults and then Samuri mostly.

We can, but not necessarily, we can start w/o Catas, AI is still expanding, not army-building (save Mongols). We with our small army are among the strongest. Catas will make it easier, but so far we're facing only archers.

Whatever route we take, I remember there was a super-plan by Obormot to pop-rush catas in Kyoto using HRule to quiet the unrest. Then we can bring them directly to the frontline.

Whether we through 40-50 turns can discover Astronomy and start new war?
I think, that it of time will be enough AIs for discover Machinery!?

GPP:
If we revolt to castes in 6 turns (while Edo grows to 7) we get GS in 18 more turns, i.e. 24 +2 for revolt. Don't know what year, don't have turn/year tables.
There is no way Madrid can beat Edo to 3rd GS (Edo has already gone almost halfway due to early lib), however, it would be ideal to rush 4th GS there if we need one. If we rush nothing more and start growing with 3 and then 5super-food tiles, we can rush it to max pop in zero time (like 1 pop per turn). We need more units there, maybe send former fogbuster and new units (catas etc) to get required temporary effect.

On an afterthought, I agree with Dynamic on Construction before Civil Service - we can't research CS before Astro, so we won't be able to build Samurai, but with Construction able to produce catas. Our current cash allow us to rush these two techs in 19 turns, and maybe faster with scientists required under castes.

Yes, that's a reasonable idea. Not for CS - by then we should research CS and Constr and Astro - but for Guilds. And it will still help boost our research. Pity coisn aren't affected by Academy :D

The score graph looks awesome. :D

We should switch to Caste System & Hereditary Rule during this turnset (should propably take two turns). We should propably do it after Cordoba poprushes forge and Seville poprushes granary. We should be able to finish the remainng buildings by normal production.

I like the idea of making a GM in Madrid instead of GS. Delays Astronomy a bit, but gives more gold for upgrades and/or keeping cities in the long run. We can take the final decision after next turnset though.

I also agree with Dynamic about Construction first. The AI are very likely to research it for us, but we can afford to play it safe (since we will be limited by 4th GS).
