Heh I can finally post here. I have been lurking for over a month now and Greyfox you are very dedicated man. Reminded me of VQ08 and looks like you are having fun these last turns. I am impressed.

Also in our SG the scores were explained as I think everybody got Dan Quayle due to Gyathaar's tweaking the game so it means nothing. So don't fret if most of the team went on a space ride I certainly was watching with interest but am surprised there are so many AI's left. Actually that's pretty much all of them except for Izzy. There were others lurking too so you did have an audience as I knew you wouldn't give up.

Please please, play SGOTM03 we need you with this new AI.

Thanks, cosmic, and good job at VQ Black! I'm impressed at how fast you guys finish the game ... glad that at least one of us lived up to the VQ name. I am inclined to change my mind abt SGOTM3 after browsing through the VQ-Black thread ....

Sam, to be fair, Fox04 was the first time I was behind in a space race .... didn't really knew what to do there, it was Fox04 that teaches me what to do in the event of trailing behind in space race, and VQ08 of-course gave me the chance to put it into practice, and this SGOMT02, in my humble opinion, is the crowning achievement of all these, definitely standing on the shoulders of Fox04 and VQ08.

Oh I wasn't criticizing by any means. IIRC in Fox 04 (thanks for the correction) we didn't have the research power to get the Internet in time. As you say that SG was a good learning curve.

Well played, VQ Red. Not a Conquest, but a storming finish

For some reason, the game thinks there are fewer turns than there really are. So your finish date is after the theoretical end of game, resulting in a negative finishing bonus. Hence your teeny tiny score.

In Fox04 we didn't have Nikita. She's hot and deadly. Sure is annoying when you blow 20K and nothing but then the third try it worked.

Greyfox as to VQ Black it was a little heated but in the end we got to understand each other much better and I think we will play much better as a team in SGOTM03. namliaM is a master with the whip and without him I don't think we would have gotten that far. It is why I really would like to have him on board with SGOTM03 even though he can't finish because of honeymoon.
