Start another move towards Horico...
ANOTHER, more more more
but it will have to be in his capitol then... Mabye the competion of the Oracle and Confusionalism is a coincedence?
forming/ready.

) out of the box, as you pointed out; but it also allows us to produce a Normal-Doc (MedicI) without having to fight ...
) ...The only other option i like is b1, to rid of the barb cities solo, and gain yet more GP and promotions.

Roster (update) :
Mastiff_of_Ar => *Get ready, cause here it comes !*

Do we have plans to go and pillage around Alex's capitol (particularly the bronze) at this point? Or are we just waiting to steal his workers and keep him trying to build them... and settlers?
Heh.... You all need to help me GET ready! How far are we from construction? Will I have a happy elephant to ride around on?![]()

Roster (update) :
ChrisFromLux => UP
I suggest one worker road back to London from Sparta, while the other gets the camp and farm on the FP (no cottage yet I think...)

namliaM said:The London worker, finish the mine and complete the (shorter) road via the forrest and grass to Horico?
Horico worker, chop the forrest south of Horico and start cottaging the GRASS lands around Horico? Or start roading towards F?
-surplus, once we work the mine, it's 1; and because London will become unhealthy, it will become stagnant ...namliaM said:Use this settler for F or A? I wouldnt mind chopping the city site of F before settling, but ... when are we going to find worker time?
How about my idea to build a settler in London to increase unit support a little faster? It does take a full nine turns tho!
namliaM said:The spear in Sparta can be changed, not a hammer into it.
namliaM said:My 'plan' was to let wonderhappy-nonunitbuilding-neverexpanding-stonecarying-friendly-alex. Live ... leave that 16 hammer (32 for the Pyramids) capitol alone for now ...
Taking out Hannibal first, then see how far along Alex is wondering for us.

Sorry that I have to break you enthusiasm, but I think I'm up first ... it's your turn after me again
But I can try to get an elephant ready for you to play with, we have none for now ... Ivory not even connected yet ...

Agreed as well; once the mine is finished, London needs no more tiles improved (for the moment, at least). We now have 2 -surplus, once we work the mine, it's 1; and because London will become unhealthy, it will become stagnant ...
So the worker could road to Horico, than prepare site F!?! That way, Horico's worker can keep cottaging ...
Oh, I know you're next... I was just having fun with Nam.![]()
By the way: Congrats for winning GOTM25![]()
I was conquered![]()

Not really, we need the food untill we can get that plantation on the BananaAgreed. We definitely need more food in Sparta ... even after we get a plantation on the banana, we need more food
What will we work for the 7th tile? The Forrest (for 1 hammer) or i.e. farmed/plantation Dye? I like the Farmed dye option even tho it should be replaced in 30 odd turns... when Calander finishes and the (Now farmed) banana has gotten its Plantation.Agreed as well; once the mine is finished, London needs no more tiles improved (for the moment, at least). We now have 2-surplus, once we work the mine, it's 1; and because London will become unhealthy, it will become stagnant ...

So we are one short for the moment. Lucky B doesnt need MUCH improving, but it needs some...Do we want to keep Hannibal's cities ? He currently has 2, Carthage and Utica... but both are quite far away from London...I agree on this as well ... use Horico's next settler to found city F, giving us yet more commerce which we are lacking; and build another settler in London for city A ...
That way, Construction will be ready when London's settler is finished, and it can start to build Cats and Elephants, to take out our first target (AKA Hannibal)
Looking at the roads near Carthage it looks as tho Hannibal has hooked up his copper AND horses allready. This is why I suggest a spear to counter any Chariots we may encounter.I'm not sure we need a Spear ... I would check on Hannibal again this turn, and re-disconnect his Bronze/Horses in Carthage, as well as checking the horses near Corinth ... that way, we don't need a Spear as far as we know ...
Agree but disagree. A chariot is both folnerable (spelling?) and not usefull thru that thick jungle out there.Of course, the problem is that we haven't scouted the land on the far east (NE of Carthage, SE of MM), and we dont know what resources are out there. I don't like that, and I think we should use 1 chariot to scout that area ... even if I'm quite sure that there isn't much land left ... should be coast not far away, I suppose, with <10 tiles we don't see ... but you never know ...

I would have suppossed in that case to have him NOT build either Stonehedge or Oracle either, yet he did...Hmmm ... on the one hand, I think it's interesting to let Alex live, so he can build wonders for us ...
on the other hand, what if he doesn't??? I don't like him keeping bronze connected, and building up spears and axes instead of a wonder ... our chariot/axe-combos wouldn't look good in that case ...
I mean, he only has 2 cities so far. We have captured one, and destroyed another ... I would suppose him to build settlers (with more escorts), instead of building yet another wonder![]()
