Is a cultural victory even possible with one city? Unless you use a PA that is?

Cultural/Domination both require PA. Space/Diplo/Conquest are all technically possible going solo.

With the emphasis on the word technically.

Domination with a strong ally would be possible then... If we dont get creamed early. Some test games you get attacked early (with Monty on your doorstep) other you have more time. Keeping defense high is key in any game.

The start should help us. Easy to protect sea resources if the ice is not protecting us entirely, and only neighbours to the south.

Yes, I did indeed wonder how much we should discuss about the game now that this thread is no longer "protected".
