SGOTM 15 - Kakumeika

I think in 15 mins, the 1-turn PPP should be ready. Indeed, I only need a consensus, no time to wait all the team. We need to go on.

Based on current planning, I'm fine you playing 1 turn very soon.

PPP done for at least one turn.

Recent changes about the spy in DeerGold doesn't change much except I will run wealth instead for T122.

PPP looks good.

Strongly dislike worker in Delhi just to do some trivial improvement for a trivial city like Crabsville. An earlier spy can get earlier fortification, no? That affects our VC chances. Crabsville never will.

Likewise settler in SheepTown. I think we expect to gift Eastport to Genghis to be his Hindu city after we're done with building boats and/or missionaries there. A new eastern settler is not going to be useful if Hatse DOWs us, and is not necessary for Genghis if she does not. We have no evidence that we need to gift a city to AI pair members, yet. We could use another spy before that settler.

There's a tile on the eastern edge of Toku with a sign about a Liz archer that was there 10+ turns ago and is now presumed to have died damaging the Hatse War Chariot that was injured. Some people have been (sloppily) referring to the archer, rather than the tile we have marked, I think. What concerns you specifically, Tachy?

@Tachy: We want Liz non-Hindu for the espionage discount during stealing. Flipping Liz to Hindu for the post-steal re-DOW may avoid diplo hits, espec with Hammu. Might make it harder for her to negotiate peaces. Not sure if it is necessary, however.

uh? :) Bcool just said no spy for the moment because another one will lower chances of already prepped spies. Although the present GA makes nice 2-turns spies, I can always make one after the worker.

Okay, I don't mind more spies or wealth.
I wanted to make that worker for more wealth from crabsville, but my guts say a two turns wealth in Delhi will do the same than waiting improvement and growth in Crabsville, in addition to wait for profit after investment in a FW.

Indeed. You're right on this one. Anyways, I think the war "This war spoils our relationship!" will make Genghisgawa CAUTIOUS to Liz as well the others if we wait a little.

I just want to avoid diplo hit with Genghisgawa, otherwise we won't be able to explore his lands for a long long time.

OK, don't get them fortified, but if we want 2 ready to jump in after the first four missions, we may as well have 4 in case we run into mission failure. Getting the stealing done so we can go back to simple(!) war scenarios is the mission, I think.

I don't mind a FW in a few turns, but our window to maximize the espionage outcome is narrow and I think a few (hopefully) redundant spies are a better way to go.

Yeah. Resource trades might come in for a new +1 with Genghis, but I've forgotten the situation.

No, this +1 is better additional than neutralizing the war on friend. Earlier exploration with scout, the better for victory.

I know EastPort is the infectious Hindu city for Genghisgawa, but we need to explore his lands faster than later.

Sure, we want to keep Genghis as happy as we reasonably can.

I'm sure the waiting time before taking back cities will help as the diplo hit comes by chunk of -3.

Okay, I'll play in few minutes.
Ok, I'll take another spy for now. Perhaps a cata after, but that's another day.

What about the pig city near Gateway city; looks like a passage to water.
You see the settler is out and can join the SoD for teleportation, but given we're making a trireme/caravel, the settler will be secluded in EastPort. O

Okay, SheepTown will make the spy for Trojan Horse. Then wealth to help slider.

Anyways, I change my thought about the scout around Byblos. I'll scout the pig region first, then retract to Genghis. Anyways, he's not gonna OB yet and Hatshe will DoW us anyways.

All okay?

Hatshe's SoD is in Kyoto. WC have joined the SoD.

Near Hamsville and DeerGold, two catas and one axe. Was there a purpose to them?
Can I just sit them in nearest city to LizTown. Will use them for recapturing.

Nice boat city after all. Alexandria is so misplaced; typical for an AI.

See this post

Yep, keep the archer home. Send any other unit that can make the cutoff. The units near Hammu's border should probably position around CowTown so we can be sure of recapturing Liz cities when we need to after stealing.

ok...

Lucky! Optics is her agenda. Will upload save and we'll see tomorrow.

Hatshegawa army is returning home. Close border is not a pressing affair.

We'll have to deal with Genghisgawa diplo hit; I forgot he's not at war.
