:goodjob: mabraham
Let's give Tachy 24 hours to say if she wants a turn. After that I should be able to take my turn

1. mabraham
2. Tachywaxon ... UP NOW
3. bcool ,,, ON DECK
4. WastinTime ... IN THE HOLE
5. Walter_Wolf
6. Kaitzilla
7. Sun Tzu Wu
8. shulec

Got it. Tonight, I'm busy with family stuff, but tomorrow (20-24 hours later), I'm all for it. I know we have like 3-4 weeks left, so no time to lose once I get ready.

Agree that we want a city with BFC containing maximum seafood + Fort for sea access.

Is a city near 2-NW of Humbaba Haven still plausible for destroying Humbaba via Cultural attack?

I doubt we will be able to generate / afford the great people to make that happen - but if we want to explore it, that should be easy to test.

I already did it. A legendary city 3 tiles away can't flip it because it is on a different land mass.

I was just suggesting that if the goal is to take out Humbaba, near the end of the game it wouldn't be hard to just send a settler a turn ahead of the forces meant to take Humbaba out.

I don't know if the city inside Humbaba's Haven is a high priority... Perhaps resources could be spared for more important things (if there are some). A settler near the end of the game is dirt cheap, a settler, workers and workboats for a Humbaba city and fort not so much right now.

Sure - but health can become limiting when Sushi's in the game, and the 1-2 health from having crabs could be very welcome. Depends what trades might exist from the other continent, of course.

With Astro around the corner, Colossus will lose its buff to water tiles. DPF and CPF can run a bunch of specialists happily for the rest of the game. However, if we aren't going to run Rep for the rest of the game, we'll want to run a pack of plains cottages with the excess food. That means we need workers starting ASAP if they're to mature to towns in time to make a difference. What do we want here?

I'll go check the Real Save in one hour and start my PPP with the goal to finish the rough one, get feedback and then do a second draft.

Just to say I'm working on the PPP. I'll go get my dinner, then continue in 45 mins later. Yes, it'll be finished for today.
