Kakumeika - かくめいか - 革命家 means revolutionary in Japanese. The Kanji above has the same meaning in Chinese, but it is pronounced very differently in Chinese as you may notice in the definition link below.
Google Kakumeika, かくめいか or 革命家 (be sure to select English only in advanced search http://www.google.com/advanced_search)
One definition I like is:

Googling "Kakumeika" was one of the first things I did before making a real commitment to join the team.

Sorry, I did not mean to suggest that googling kakumeika would easy. I considered it a fun adventure because it was hard to track down. I probably would have given up, except I have learned enough Japanese to narrow my search.
My original post was expanded significantly after you quoted it. You are too fast for me. I just wanted to share the adventure I had when first looking it up, but I guess one really needs some prior significant knowledge of Japanese and a motivation to learn Kanji and asian written languages to really appreciate it.

That is the Chinese reading (pronounciation) for this Kanji word.
The Japanese reading (pronounication) is Kakumeika (かくめいか
.I did expand my original post more after seeing it as being inadequate, even before I noticed your response. I regret posting it in its incomplete state.

Thanks for your additional information about the Japanese word 革命家. It encourages me to idenify the radical of each Kanji and look it up in a Japanese to English Kanji dictionary. Its been years since I've done that. The etymology (history) of each Kanji that comprises a Kanji word can be quite fascinating.

No worries. I've forgetten almost as much Japanese as I ever knew which was very little at best. I'm still surprisingly a little bit enthusiastic about learning more Japanese and Kanji, but I know I'll never commit enough time to it for it to become useful.
