Also Chris, would you be allowed to open a save from Turn 6 or whenever you met Brennus and give a print screen of the Victory Conditions and a print screen of Paris?
Yes, we are allowed to open manual saves, but not auto saves. I have manual saves for each turn. Will get that screenshot this afternoon when I am back at my computer.
The next warrior built is after the first settler. In my tests i have been sending SW of paris to fogbust. He could keep moving if we want. I admit i was a bit paranoid about barbs showing up in the 15 or so turns that we will be slightly vulnerable. Paris gets its mp warrior after the worker/settler combo.
The woodie warrior was fogbusting city 2 until it go built, then moves across to fogbust city 3.
I vote for sending the next warrior built farther south to explore starting around turn 42, when Paris has the Warrior partially built. I think it's worth the risk when we've got a partially built warrior in Paris that we can pop out in case of danger.
With that suggested revision, green from me for the Neil AH plan on the spreadsheet. Hope for horsies.
Yes I did, it was awful. The city was settled 2 turns later and wasn't connected until Sailing was learned.... and since we had 15% less commerce, Sailing took more turns.
- Set Brennus to have esp rank 1
- Our Warrior retreated to the PHF, and the lion followed him and attacked the following turn. He now has 4/5 xp but needs 9 turns to heal.
- A few turns later, a wolf appears. Warrior is 1.1/2 and is on a PHF, so I leave him. Wolf attacks and loses, warrior is now Woodie 2.
- AH is in, and we have horses, or we will rather soon. City 3 will rock?
Spoiler:
I will stop now to allow discussion. Does anyone want me to upload the save ?
OK, sorry guys, my boss wanted me to do some work!!
I have finished the turnset, everything went exactly to plan. The second warrior did a little exploring before he found a barb city, and I got paranoid that another barb city could spawn near our fantastic City 3, so I made sure it was completely fogbusted.

- City 2 settled, renamed to "GP Farm".

Spoiler:
- 2040 BC: The Great Wall has been built in a far away land!
- Sailing researched, start Masonry
- 1840 BC: Stonehenge has been built in a far away land!
- City 3 settled, renamed "Production".
Woodie 2 warrior is currently standing in Production.
Celts built Stonehenge which is wonderful. It means they have not been building settlers, and it won't mean barbs hassle us more.

1) The Oracle looks totally reasonable. That's a pretty late Stonehenge and I think the Stonehenge date and and the Oracle date are usually pretty correlated. Not actually sure if there's any reason for that. But it goes with my current optimism about getting the Oracle.
2) TGL is also looking pretty good. We'll have to do some intense micro to make sure we get it out as soon as possible. We've got chopping and whipping to try and optimize in city 2.
3) City 3 will be fantastic. I'm a huge fan.
4) Still no other neighbors? What's the word on espionage? Are we semi-iso with Brennus? Because I think that would be pretty lame.
5) We need some exploration. That should be a major priority in the next turn set.
6) Barb cities are usually pretty good. So there must be some food down there by the incense. We should make sure to get that city.
7) Paris should whip a worker sooner rather than later.
8) I'm going to be on fall break on October 12-16. So that will probably be a fantastic time for me to get in my turnset. And both before and after will not work very well. So maybe we can try and fit me in there team? I'd appreciate it.
