Maybe we can learn for when we play next time, that in the past (includes this game) we did not always take the best route.
I i. e. also said things like "don't build a Stable in Pigs, it won't pay back" , which was true, aswell as "you'll not get a vote for Construction from me" , and then we built like maybe 4 Catapults over the whole game because we got Trebs afterwards.
Worst errors happen without noticing or from not adapting though.
Just think of how many turns Lib -> Railroad would have been. Yes, Lib -> Railroad alone would probably have been enough to beat Plastic Ducks.
And then imagine, what would have been if we had used the GE for the UN, skipped Railroad completely and simply whipped the Paratroopers.
Arguing about those points is allowed, but I'm very sure that we already had won the game and then lost it in the end because we had too little fun / wasted too much time in the beginning. Micro decisions like a handful of units here or there are unimportant when we commit errors against the good advice that was there from others, and when we don't even notice when we make the greatest errors from all because we don't discuss something through only because it sounds or reads good.
