Ok T18, good news and bad news.

Good news:
Spoiler :

We meet some one!

Bad news:
Spoiler :

Tokugawa of Ethiopia... so much for trading partners

I'll put EPs on him anyway because it's still a better investment than Asoka, but I'll change when/if we meet another dude

Is he our Oracle guy? (Edit: I doubt it, given the lack of religion)

Hi GKey. ;)

Might as well fortify. The Wolf has <1% chance of winning.

Never mind.

Animals have an attack prob of 99 on Immortal. It's better when Bears walk past your injured Warrior.

I know. It's just a bit frustrating to work my micro off to get a T31 Alpha and we have no trading partners... let's hope a Scout comes from the North West (happened a lot in test game)

A Bear is standing near the Gold site, and our Axe is 1 turn too late to eliminate it first. So that's a 1-turn delay on Settling there's no way around it (-2 :hammers:, -8 :commerce:, +6 :gold: and a T32 Alpha...)

  this is not a pleasant loss of my SGOTM-virginity!

Turnset went according to plan except for the following events:
  • Our scouting Warrior died on T18 due to a stupid move made by pomthom-aka-the-noobster, failing to meet further AIs. The Alpha gamble isn't looking so great now...
  • A Bear was wandering near our City 3 spot on the turn the Settler was supposed to go there. Axe could not get there to kill it before, so City 3 (Gare de l'Est) was settled 1 turn later than possible
    Spoiler :

Events worth mentioning:
  • We have met Tokugawa of Ethiopia
  • Islam (Monotheism probably) was founded in 3000 BC
  • Stonhenge was built in 2800 BC
  • We have a Woodsman II Axeman

End of set screenshots:

Good work pomthom. I guess this means I'm up.

Here's a quick test game with the updated tiles and micro.

However I don't know how to change the other AIs and their diplo without WBuilder... does this mean I have to start all over??

Going to sleep now and have nightmares of dead Warriors

Well done, SGOTM freshman;)

Unnecessary, test game is for micro our own empire, it's even unnecessary to update faraway land tiles since we don't need detailed micro that time. I started over the test game only because your original test game did not have enough space to settle our empire south.
