SGOTM 19 - Also Sprach Sid

EDIT: should the Scout move south? I am not sure where the LB has moved.
I'll move 1SW then 1E, with the aim of eventually fogbusting 1SW of the Wheat, to prevent a barb city spawning:

Spoiler :

I'll wait 5 minutes to hear if the Longbow is lurking in the fog, before I move.

The LB is in the dark area south of the scout, you could move 1 tile a time south to be safe. Let it guard the site, the barbarian city would be troublesome as it will be guarded with LBs.

Let the scouting axe keep heading SW, I believe that it will find a new AI soon, unless the AI is Nappy.:p

Hello!

Spoiler :

WHY YOU NO LIKE ME?

Spoiler :

Oh.

----

Need to look at Alex's personality. We could gift gold until he's at +4, if that will help, and then trade Currency.

Alexander:

30% of the other AIs also know the tech
Hmmm.

We'd need AI #6 to have Mathematics too.

In terms of location:

Spoiler :

I think it's more likely the Oracle AI is in the SW corner of the map than the NW, so plan to head that way.

Spoiler :

Edit: do city ruins prevent barb cities spawning?

Alex trades at Cautious, techs that are known by 30%. I'm assuming that's 2 AIs but it's been so long I can't recall if that includes himself.

EDIT: loaded civ4 quickly, couldn't get Alex to trade before 4AIs total had Mathematics... so yea.

10G gets +4 relations, Cautious, and Open Borders. No Mathematics trade though.

We could bribe him to declare against Asoka, among other things:

Spoiler :

Let's hope other AIs get Math soon.

Alex might plot KK soon.

Asoka will die soon. Not useful to put more effort on him.

I assume he's SW of Alex, who we met via a border city in the Jungle.

Ending turn shortly.

Ending turn shortly.
Before I do so...

Spoiler :
Ok to move the Axe 1W?

We either block Asoka's Archer, or encourage the barb to suicide attack against the city, or the barb attacks us and we gain a promotion.

Small chance there is something hiding in the fog.

Oh, and I just realized Tokugawa researched Calendar. I suppose for the Dye around his capital.

Will move the Axe unless I hear objections in the next 5 minutes. :)

Simple it is. IBT:

Spoiler :

I guess that you don't need to tremble this time. I could relax as well.;) Unbelievable that warrior could wound an archer!

Ha. Yes, it could have been worse.

We lost the Axe with 1XP @60% odds, or so. The other three won their battles:

Spoiler :

More gold than anticipated. :D

The City Raider III Axe only just survived (0.5/5XP... one hit away from death!).

No Granary, sadly.

The next decision will be whether to harass Tokugawa:

Spoiler :

I'm going to pause for a few minutes, and test to see how we can best use the extra Worker we captured. It can either go to Constantinople or Sheepish.
