We need to decide how many and which cities we want to capture with just Horese Archers. We can have another rush later with Catapults. Have we found Ivory yet? War Elephants and Catapults are optimal for a second rush.

We need to decide between a Horse Archer rush soon (no catapults), and things other than horse archers, granaries and 1-2 stables. Libraries are expensive buildings that should be delayed until after the horse archer is well under way.
Four cities is the most we would want prior to committing to a horse arrcher rush.

We will eventually need to control the land bridge to the Far East.
Plan roughly as follows:
First thing I noticed was Fred escorting a settler. Since he has no roads, I believe he should be slow moving that group with two archers to wherever his next location is.
What I want to do is put one turn into a Chariot at Double Fish, so I can whip it the next turn for the chance to steal the worker. We have a pretty good shot at taking that stack with our axeman and one chariot.
After that, Granary. We've got 38 hammers into the Library, but whipping is the only real way to leverage the double fish that this city has. We won't need to worry about Frederick's culture for much longer.
Switching CU city to Granary, and then whip away junk tiles once it starts growing past 5. I don't think fur is a priority tile anymore since we already hit HBR, but it is still a good tile. Think we need the HA's more.
Whip Granary in Paris now, then HA's. Only losing two scientists.
We're 4 EP away from being able to steal Masonry from Joao, which I believe is more than enough already since we can get discounts. Don't think we need this right now, but just to keep in mind.
Our settler move to N city location (I thought we already settled this). All workers move towards the cow, doing what work they can between turns.
Trade mysticism to Stalin for peace.
Tech will be Maths -> Currency.
Also, as a side note, please try to move exploring units one turn at a time. We're sharing the work load here, so we can be a little more meticulous. We might miss important details if our units start moving ahead of time before we have a chance to assess the new situation.

PPP looks good. Whip the Chariot, if it looks like we have a chance to kill Frederick's Settler.

Plan looks pretty good to me. We need granaries as a priority, and military so we can start dealing with our neighbors.
Mysticism is a very cheap price for peace with Stalin; I would take that deal if he will still do it.

So now we know where the orient/far east is located. That is excellent.
Looks like at minimum we need to take out at 4-5 AI for the railroad. We may be able to work around some AI, like Darius, but it may be more efficient to take out completely. Of course, conquest is the best VC so that is a moot point. Although we can probably leave someone like Churchill or Joao alive until the very end to win the same turn the railroad is completed. We also now know we cannot vassal Mao as we can't settle on the that tile with his city being 2 tiles away.

For the Orient/Far East the requirement is to "own a city in the Orient region". That I interpret that the tile with the Orient/Far East sign should be in the BFC and culture of one of our/our vassal's cities. Is that a correct interpretation?
That would mean that Vassaling Mao would be OK since Nanjing's BFC would take the tile.

Thanks BSP. I was under the impression that we had to own a city at the specifically marked location. Regardless, my assessment is still correct. We cannot vassal Mao because more than likely, he will settle the whole peninsula.
God, I'm having such bad luck. Power outage one turn before the end of my set. I'll be working on writing up progress so far, but I lost my notes.
Broad strokes was Frederick settled on the forested Hill tile so we had no chance there. I lost the warrior in the east to a double stack of barbs.
I just traded for Masonry, and Frederick just built walls in Berlin. Do I switch to Construction? 5 turns left until Currency finishes.
