[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Speaking of failgold. Any guess on what Bis might do with the GE?
He might try to complete Chichen Itza or Shwedagon Paya.
He already has Statue of Zeus.
Spoiler :

Not sure if we can do much.
He might just settle the Great Person if he isn't working on a wonder.

Just a quick update to an old post.

Notes:

1. Don't forget to revolt to our state religion before the end of the game.
This is a good reminder post.
It highlights our path to victory based on the game requirements.

Some maintain that the faith was not always like this and along the way something has been mangled or lost but you dismiss that as an old wives tale.

The text tells you that to end Winter you must build 7 cities, each a tribute to one face of god, each city must have a Temple of your state religion and also certain other buildings. You will need to put your best minds to work to establish how to create these buildings.

Prophet- Dun, Temple, Monastery, Cathedral, Moai Statues, Great Wonder generating Great Prophet points

Merchant - Dun, Temple, Market, Bank, Wall Street, Great Wonder generating Great Merchant points

Artist - Dun, Temple, Theatre, Broadcast Tower, Globe Theatre, Great Wonder generating Great Artist points

Scientist - Dun, Temple, Library, Lab, Oxford University, Great Wonder generating Great Scientist points

General- Dun, Temple, Barracks, Drydock, Heroic Epic, Corporation HQ

Engineer - Dun, Temple, Forge, Industrial Park, Ironworks, Great Wonder generating Great Engineer points

Spy - Dun, Temple, Courthouse, Intelligence Agency, West Point, Great Wonder generating Great Spy points

You may construct other buildings in each city, as well as the requirements noted above, provided you only build exactly 6 Great Wonders and found exactly 1 Corporation.

You do NOT need to generate the appropriate great person just build the right Wonders in each city.

You must be running a State Religion when you win the game, but it is up to you which one you use however you must have temples of that religion in each city as well as the cathedral in the Prophet city.

(Cathedral is used in the generic sense it does not have to be a Christian Cathedral e.g. the Stupa is defined in-game as "the Buddhist Cathedral").

Assuming we go for UN, then we need 85332:science: from teching and trades.
If we get Astronomy from Peter, then it is 82212:science:.
Divide out the 1.2 tech bonus, and we need 68510:science: RAW.
We have a Great Scientist, will get another Great Scientist from Physics, and might get another from the capital.
3 * 1800:science: = 5400.
5400÷1.2= 4500
68510 - 4500 = 64010:science:

So our empire needs to generate 64,010:science: RAW to tech everything realistically.
Might be able to get Peter to do Communism for us after Astro too if he likes free Great Spy.

Clams, Profit, and Whale could use University long-term.

As near as I can calculate, fail gold is about the same as working a scientist.
I really don't know when we should starting working 2 scientists in each city.

Good luck WastinTime. :D

If things look good, I'll aim to play closer to 2pm tomorrow, about 21-22 hours from now.
Playing pIckleball tomorrow morning for the 1st time. before it gets to 100 degrees again.

It's cheesy, but shouldn't we just keep getting 6 GG points/turn?
Really make that Great Wall pay off in a way we never anticipated.
6 turns to the next one and then, 15 for the 3rd, right?
More like 10-12 turns cus of our other fighting.
Probably should get a 4th GG.

Couldn't our cats walk away and the scout sits there for about 15 turns healing?
Another cat could take over or they could even come back for more.
The only drawback I see is 1hpt for the oil.

It was invented in Seattle which is where I grew up. Our neighbors had a court in their yard. It's a lot of fun and less running than tennis.

Academy probably can't compete with GS bulb of Electricity ~1900.
Now science city has 35:science: from temple and specialist; base commerce 45:commerce:*50% capital bonus=67. Assuming we have 100% research slider for 80% of the remaining time and science doesn't grow...on average every turn an academy will provide an extra (35:science:+67:commerce:*80%)*50%=44.3:science:. We still have 60+ turns left?

BTW, do we beg some money from Bismark? There is a small chance that he is planning a war on us. During peace treaty he may give up on the plan.

Shouldn’t the GS 5400 be subtracted from COOKED bookers rather than RAW? (Just playing quibble ball).
