[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

UN seems late, and expensive and then there's the time waiting for the vote turn. But, yeah, maybe some more thinking on that.

Tech: Our goal should be to run research slider at 100% the enitre game-- once SH gold comes in. We will be doing G.Wall somewhere every turn after stone.
Probably build 6 Moai, several Mids, etc. Ideas on how to get gold before Henge?

The only question left I know of is if anyone is thinking wb1 should go to Canal.
The main motivation to study SB’s land tiles was to see if that area is blocked off to our exploring work boat. I was hoping to figure that out in answer to your question.

So you are thinking about a wb to go through Canal and the east, right?

So that's three exploring wbs (one of them short term).

1. NW-W by whales
2. N-NE to check out the land up there (temporary scout)
3. NE-E to see if we can get past SB's northern borders (could be a temporary scout)

We should prioritize these and all of the fishing nets we need so that we can plan accordingly.

Ok. At present I don’t have enough data on SB. Pretty sure the creative AI did not get Buddhism or Hinduism.

I’m in favor of netting all three cities

Green light from me.

Please screen grab F7 each turn. Religion.

Kait, if you still have the T29-30 saves, could you please check the percentage if Buddhism in the world, F7?

So you are thinking about a wb to go through Canal and the east, right?
Not directly. wb1 (if we assigned him this duty) would be the NE island first. Then maybe far east, but I was thinking just peek east if there's time and then be a 2nd seafood for Canal to let it concentrate on GLH. My vote is still as in PPP. Just threw this out as the (only?) thing holding up the green lights. I believe I have one unless I missed them.

I get the hint. Was sorta waiting for Kait, but I'll start soon. Remember, I'm slow, and I need to eat dinner soon.

LC is 3 hours ahead and he's :old: so you may not get real-time feedback from him if you wait too long. I likely won't be available either. But I'm sure that you'll be fine without us and if you get to a point where you need feedback, you can pause and wait. I'm not sure what would come up in the next 10ish turns though that would require too much deliberation.

for PPP here

Turnset Report (T32-T44)

Spoiler wb1 reveals: :
Absolutely nothing. No path SE, and surprisingly, not even a food to tempt players into settling on the Marble side.

We give SB a case of crabs. (credit: LC, still cracks me up)

SB score 99, no change
Religion 8%, 12%

Clam -> SB

Geez, at least in the test save I got 2 forest growth in Cows. Nothing to report.

I guess I'm not as slow as I thought...

Oops, got ahead of myself, still on T38
SB did settle. Right on the north shore Wine (with clam)
Right before he can net his clam, we should cancel our deal and re-do it to lock him in for 10 turns. He shouldn't get a wb that fast--His capital can't build it for him--hmm. I suppose it could sail around the other way.

T39
no changes
1 turn late...Warrior moves to scout SB's #2. See if he smells anything funny there.
I should slow down.

T40

SB score 108 no change
Religion 8%, 11%

Warrior sees SB borders have expanded. Not sure if that means they just expanded.

T41
SB score 108 no change
Religion 8%, 13%

Warrior sees worker on Silk :assimilate:

T42
SB score 117 (+9) Capital grows to size 2
Religion 7%, 12%

Poverty Point in view. 1 archer

I've got all the esp. screenshots, etc. but I didn't track what he built lately. That'll be post-game analysis.

T43
SB score 123 (+6)
Religion 7%, 12%

I'm gonna stop. Gives us time to decide Monument or not in Science.
Where is Cows wb going?
Could/should StoneCity settle T44 before BW? (as long as we still get BW T45)
The location of copper can't change our site, right?

Resuming...
0% BW
Cows works Deer (vs farm)

T44
SB gets a cottage
Religion 7%, 11%

Profit founded (our Prophet city)
(not liberatable)

T45

Green light :)

Make sure to note which civ Silver City can liberate to, and don't accidentally give the city away.

Good thinking on monument in Science City.
Forgot that was a choice.
