[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Oh wait, both were built. Take it out of the queue. Any hammers put into SH this turn will be lost. Maybe wait for someone else to confirm.

EDIT: We will get our SH fail gold next turn.

Stonehenge is over now that the AI has built it.

Any further hammers we try to put in it will vanish like they never existed.

Go ahead with the workboat in Cow City.

Canal City can build Dun the next 3 turns.

Oh, wow. Both gone now. Do we need to stop and adjust the PPP for only Mids or maybe some Moai?
Oh I ran a bit too fast. In the original plan, Stonehenge is in canal city in the next few turns. I just replaced it by dun instead of Moai. The profit city will use its dun whip/forest quota on Oracle and it doesn't have enough hammer to complete Moai in near future.

Good time to show what I'm thinking with possible early-ish Astronomy. It's not a rule-breaker. It's just that IF our organic research is slower than normal this game, maybe we'll have time to work the 2 extra GS's in earlier...

Instead of targeting just Biology with ~10 GS's, we try for at least 12 GS's  before bulbing SciMeth (disabling Parthenon)
That's 14-15 GP (two-three random + 12 GS)

Get one using library...
1-Philo

Get 2 more using only 5 turns of Caste/Pacifism...
2-Edu (or one?)

Then using 2 Golden Ages, then some caste (non GAge)
1- PPress
1- Chem
2- SciMeth
3-bulb Biology, then trade for free calendar,
2-bulb Astronomy

Music artist + 2 rando's give us 2 GAges (16 turns).

Using Merc and starving at about -3fpt, our cities can each manage about 1200-1600 GPP during those GAges, and the NatEpic city can do 1800.
Now, how much does that final city need to get to the 15th GP? It will have to produce #10 and #15 (cus Profit and Science won't contribute a 2nd one til after sushi)
That's 1000 GPP + 2000 GPP = 3000 gpp
With our best city @1800, how long then does it take to get the other 1200 GPP outside the GAge?
Short answer, about 17 turns.

So we need 33 turns (not consecutive) of caste (after Banking/Merc) probably with a 5t slavery break or two.

Actually, we may have to do without Merc/Banking for the GS rush. That will add a couple turns to the above estimates.
It's +3500 beakers (feud, Guilds, Banking) that are not necessary for Biology.
Normally, I'd expect to trade for free Feudalism, but probably not this game.
Maybe we will have Merc for the 2nd GAge.

I guess we are repeating the whip-gift-stone trick on castles. If we can establish enough overseas trade routes, no merc may not be delay that much in terms of organic research speed.

Where would be the national epic? It seems you have ruled out the possibility of having national epic+Oxford+national park in science city. So it's silver city? Actually I once had a crazy dream about having epic+Ironworks to get a great engineer.

I was imagining it in Whales (with Parthenon) to keep Silver city pure. But I kinda ignored (forgot about) the plan to put it in Science. I was just thinking about how I'd do it in a normal game. It pains me to run scientists for too long in our Bureaucratic capital. We'll have to see what seems better.
