I'm in favor of closing borders. But Friendly will be hard then :hmm:
I suppose Science can live without those gems (again). It has to work 6t of scientists, then grow and 4-whip (or 5-whip?) a Uni. Then regrow. Can't work the gems too much there.
Geez, who would thought the gems we started with in our capital would not be online til T120.
 
I agree with Kait. We need to keep our plus mods with SB.

I think you can only gift a unit to an AI in their culture. No telling where it would go. We had trouble getting one lousy exploring wb; think we can get another one. ;) BTW, I'm not on board with this idea but I like the out-of-box thinking.
 
The nice thing about OB with SB is +1 on T93 and +2 on T118.

That means we can switch to Confu on T108 and have Friendly SB on T118 from +2 shared religion.

We might be the 1st team to ever get an Education without learning the Alphabet first.

They do say school gets dumbed down every year though. :)
 
I knew you guys would wuss out talk me off the ledge.
So we won't cry about no gems tiles. Science is going to be size 7 burning all it's food 6 turns, then it takes 7 turns to grow to size 8. where it gets whipped back down to size 4.
Grow. Temple. 2-whip. grow again.
Gems tiles would really slow the growth.
Then maybe the gems are online for Oxford.

Or, more likely we'll find a way to get them to meet...or get lucky.

We are somewhat close to circumnavigating the world.

We should keep our map to ourselves until we get it.

The fastest payoff is roading a cow or fur for Peter I think.
Maybe complete the Clam road if it is on the way.
Maybe road a 3rd fur to sell to SB for gpt.

Maybe just have Rex farm capital and send the worker in capital over to road a cow/fur since the farm is not urgent.

Phillip can do cow. Cowboy, ironically, is doing Fur at Whales.
Seems too early to be prechopping Oxford.
What about the new Deer road? I know it's early for that too, but it lets us move around the forests for prechopping.
 
On the deer road, I'm not sure why our culture would make us have to change the road. Is it that you can't pillage a road inside your culture?
 
The jungle gem road and 3 more roads for the deer will free up time for us to chop later ya.

Yes, roads inside our culture can not be pillaged.
