[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

you need to set up another bait.
1 worker will be placed at 1S of the city on T192 by itself.
There will be no road at 1S or 2S of the city.
All units will pool at forest and galleon will unload 4th Cata on forest.

The supreme 8 musket 4 cata 2 chariot attack can go T193.
It will represent 95% of our army

I thought we'd do more thinning, but if you think we can take the city. ok.
I'm worried your big stack is gonna get you more lb's

with all the extra cash we have, put some hammers into WallSt so we don't have that as a stressful build after the UN

DONE!!!

We are now on T192 and need 4 turns to do Mass Media.

Sure, we can pour more hammers into Wall Street if we want.
Keep in mind we will need every $$$ if a 20% Great Scientist is born.

wow. Isn't that the only spy this game? what a beast!
There are 2 spies, 1 for SB and 1 for HRE :)

Thanks for all the help WastinTime
10 turns is all I can play.

Great work! :goodjob: I think the team wanted you to go to ~195 tomorrow if you're up for it. Otherwise, Mitchum is up! Or LC can jump in any time.

Well played, Kaitzilla!! Great job keeping the money pouring in!

This week has turned into a mass rush at work and home (getting ready to have guests stay for the weekend). I only have a couple of hours today and tomorrow and maybe 1 or 2 hours on Friday. Is that enough to make it worth me playing?

update: Tech is the critical path, so 1turn early MassMedia(3) is useless. ignore this thought...
Spoiler bad idea :
I looked the the possibility of MassMedia in 3 turns. We can do it, which theoretically could let us finish UN 1t sooner and win 1t sooner.
However, we'd be running -175:gold: for 3 turns and we'd increase the odds of a GS vs GM in Science cus we'd have to run all sci for 3 turns.
We'd probably run out of money before the GM, where now it looks like we can make it to T203 (or whatever the mission turn is) pretty easily.

Tech rate/end date

I also looked at our max bpt. I get 1530bps sustained (and yes, I counted Silver's observatory)
That's with our cities doing their required hammers. If there are a couple turns of cushion, we could get a a burst rate of 1800bpt if we stop doing hammers and stop merchants cus we got GM mission.

39,000 after MassMedia T196 means 25 turns of research.
= T221 Superconductors

With our 'burst' rate for 5 of the 24 turns, we might shorten that to 24 turns,
T220 Superconuctors, T221 Win

So the UN is no rush. I think we have ~18 turns to do it and we figured we could do 15 or 14 if we had to.
Does anyone see a way to get Superconductors earlier than T220?

P.S. without the GM mission, we probably slip 1 turn. Back to 221 or 222 win.

39000:science: / 1.2 = 32500:science: RAW
32500 / 24 turns = 1354:science:

Once we have Mass Media T196, then we need to average 1354:science: per turn to finish teching by T220.

The bottleneck to me is Whale City + Canal City right now.

We need a Windmill + Lumbermill to speed up Whale City

We also need 2 Lumbermills to speed up Canal City
We can send 2 workers on the galley from Clam City on T195.
We can send the worker north of Science City to help Canal lumber mill right now T192.

UN can definitely be built in 15 turns as long as we reach 45/48:food: by T195 in Clam City.
Max :hammers: into a Warrior T195 would give the biggest overflow into UN.
Perhaps put 10/15:hammers: into the Warrior on T194.

UN forest chops start T196 of course.

I like 15 turn UN because the UN build time is the limiting factor if we can spike our :science: per turn sky high.

I disagree. You're talking about building the UN on T211. We can't possibly want it that early.
Therefore. (although the warrior was a great idea to rush UN) warrior is just a waste of hammers.

A UN built T211 means a T217 vote and a T218 victory screen.
This is only 3 turns faster than what you envisioned.

If we can achieve an average tech rate of 1548:science: from T196 to T216 instead of 1354:science: per turn from T196 to T219, the Warrior is worth it.

Mmm, 1548:science: per turn for 21 turns might be impossible even with capital and Ironworks building Research and burning our money pile.

Ok, no warrior and 16 turn UN is ok too.

475:hammers: left. Windmill should be enough. We have the chop and could always work 1 citizen or something, but doubt we have to.

1 lumbermill in Canal is also enough (the one without the preserve). It would get us to 12hpt-base (with priest+eng) or 15hpt. (intel agency = 12 turns) WestPoint is about 14 turns (with 2 chops) = 26 turns.

This is only 3 turns faster than what you envisioned.
yes, but 3 turns faster is 4500:science:!
If we had no buildings left and 4000:gold: we could cut 3 turns off.
Our cities are essentially at max size, so there aren't any new beakers coming in except for the observatory +15.
I already counted doing MM back to scientists (other than merchants in Silver) just to get 1530.

Great job! World class spy:lol:

Now we have 2 un-improved furs outside BFCs/1 turn later there will be 1 more when science gets 5000 culture(the 1 near wheat fort). I think we can get these furs and change some of the camps in our BFCs to windmill.

....We are going to whip Wall Street at the last turn? I haven't checked the game yet. Is it guaranteed that switching 2 civics would take 1 turn only?
