[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

Last time we waited it disappeared and then came back, right?

How about we beg for it now to see if we can get it? It's been a while since our last beg. It's worth a shot.
I think then we will surely get peanuts 2t from now with Communism.

If we're gonna beg Peter, we should beg for a Clam and then trade marble for Clam+:gold:
fyi, buying a clam is still 9gpt.

This is an option too. I've never begged for a resource. I'm not sure how that's valued compared to a beg for gold so I'm not sure how likely it is to be accepted.

I'm pretty sure it's just 9gpt for 10t = 90:gold: beg
We have to wait 3 turns to redo whale + clam, but we wouldn't want to do that and lose the 3:gold: in that deal, so maybe marble is fine?

If we get the GM mission, we should certainly redo whale deal for clam and buy a clam. (+13 food)
We did sushi, let's make it pay.

why 195? why not 192?

No, we're going to finish it after the UN and before the vote. I'm told that is 7 turns.
Clam City still needs 8 worker turns to put a workshop at 1N and 4 worker turns to prep Windmill at 1NE.

That takes 4 workers from T192 to T194.

2 can leave on galley T195.

The remaining 2 can workshop the farm and move to the forest at 1E on T195.

Then on T196, complete Windmill and Worshop, causing both forests to go into UN.

Clam City is totally finished with worker improvements T196 :)

What's the rush? we lose 1 food and any chance for regrow.
I guess we gain a food tho. and a coin.

1 lumbermill in Canal seems a bit more urgent.
When is our Whale for 3:gold: per turn up?
3 turns. I'd rather beg clam now and get 2nd clam (w/ marble) since we're doing so well on money.
Then add the whale for clam + buy clam on T202 if GM comes in.

I'd rather have 140 now and peanuts later than nothing now and peanuts later (gold can go away). At least we could try to lock in the 140 :gold: now.
The Peter gold has been steadily growing each turn that I've played.
It should still be there in 2 turns I think.

Bismarck constantly had gold and then went to 0.

We could sell our map to Peter, and then try begging for the rest?
No harm in trying this 28 turns from the end I suppose.

Clam City has an extra health.
There won't be any -1 food.

The rush is to have all the workshops online to make sure UN gets done as fast as possible.

How about we send the 2 workers on the galley T193 after they do the Workshop 1N of Clam City T192?
The windmill isn't critical and does not have to be finished T196.

Sweet that Peter is getting Communism 194. That means we don't have to do FreeReligion 195. Just let him pick StateProperty and then he can't emancipate until 220

Deal. With the worker north of Science, they can finish T198, so that's 6 more turns without the lumbermill. (which provides 3hpt)

Tempting.
But I better pass to the next person.

Next person, you're up! :cowboy:
I really shouldn't spend any significant time on this until Tuesday. Should we let the game sit until then? I could probably start working on a PPP and we could continue to evolve our strategy and tactics and then I could play on Tuesday.

The alternative is for someone else to pick up the save and I could follow them.
