I don't like it the way the bonuses work: 5CC AW get's almost as big multiplier as OCC AW. Not fair IMHO.
 
A similar question is whether to put the adjusted score in the Jason formula, or adjust the Jason score. I am sure, that after a few games (will we have this many?) we will see "score optimzation" by clever players. And that may lead to adjusting the formula. Let's wait and see .....
 
There is a discussion thread for these issues ;)

The next game will work a little differently. After that game then we can all discuss how to move forward. One of the challenges of SG's are playing variants, but at the same time "winning" the competition is obviously important to some. How we cater for both (or "if" we cater for both) will be a discussion that will run and run I suspect.

You should remember that nobody died and made me God. If you have ideas on how the scoring should work, just say in the discussion thread. :)

All scores, bonuses, etc. aside, that was pretty awesome to watch, and Team Bugsy is to be congratulated for a really nicely executed finish. :thumbsup:
 
Final Scores will be ready tomorrow night about 60 seconds b4 SGOT2 announcement.

Timing two victory conditions AND the end of the game to coincide with the start of the next. Deserves some sort of award... ;)

That depends, what's the bet? Here are a few things I'll bet on:

1) The level of participation will be greater.

2) Much fun will be had.

3) Gengis Khan will find someone to whack with his spoon.

4) Nobody will top Akots' "suggested variant" for SGOTM2
