MM a bit. Why in god's name were we building a uni in Bursa? Switch to duct.
Awesome job with the blockades, Khan.

I move the healed army into the stack, for ZoC and attacking Calcutta next turn.
(I) Wow, that's a lot of frigates.
Indians wanna talk, heh.
Jumbo takes the Indian workers back! 0-1
Americans finish Newton, bleah.
No landings, sweet.
T1 (920AD)
Kill the offending jumbo, recapture the workers. 1-1
Army kills 3 pikes in Calcutta, reg pike showing. 4-1
Metals in 7 or 8 at this point.
(I) Bombing of our coasts, but no new landings again.
Five Indians move next to Sivas, though.
T2 (930AD)
Throw rocks at the Indians.
MI kills Indian MI, promotes. Elite knight kills longbow. Elite knight kills redlined pike. Vet knight kills longbow. Wounded army kills longbow. 9-1
(I) Galley sinks frigate! And then again! Well, that was unlikely...

Then galley sinks.

11-2
Bomb, bomb, bomb...
A huge stack of Indian pikes appears! Twenty-five pikes and four spears!
Plus five units near Sivas.
T3 (940AD)
Throw rocks at the Indians.
Bombing Calcutta shows at least 6 pikes in the city, and the army reveals a few more to the north.
Vet knight kills pike, vet knight dies to pike, vet MI kills pike, vet knight kills AC, elite knight kills longbow, elite knight kills longbow. 16-3
(I) Bomb, bomb, bomb.
Americans land cav and longbow.
Galley fends off frigate. This is funny.

Longbow kills musket, damn.
Musket kills sword.
Musket kills archer. 19-4
The entire stack of pikes enters Calcutta.
T4 (950AD)
I'm pulling our offensive units away from Calcutta. Hopefully all those pikes will park outside Sivas for us to whittle down. If they don't, well those cats won't be much help there anyway -- we can send the armies over there to chop 'em down.
Kill the Americans 21-4.
Kill 2 Indian pikes. 23-4
(I) Americans land 3 cavs
T5 (960AD)
Throw rocks at the Americans, then kill 'em. 26-4
Kill one, two Indian pikes in Calcutta with an army. 28-4
Ok, that's it. Metals in 3, with a small surplus. Be careful building galleys in our 'outer' cities, since there are frigates all around us that'll immediately take them out. Maybe build arty instead. Konya and Bursa have 'ducts now, so let them grow past size 7 for the unit support.
The Indians will be a tough nut to crack -- they are gassed offensively, but they got many many defensive units. I managed to see about 33 pikes and 3 spears on that one turn, and I didn't get to the bottom of Calcutta. I think next turn move all our Indian units into Sivas, see if we can't lure them out into the open. If they do that, it should be pretty easy to pick them off. We have the two armies, 5 knights, an MI, and lots of arty in and around Sivas.
There are two knights and a pike in a galley in the north, for landing on the iron next turn. See if you can get it disconnected. Leave the galleys where they are until next turn, then move them two spots and drop the units. If you move them closer now, they might get spooked into covering the iron. (It's a small point, but worth the try.)
There's a stack of workers and settlers near Urfa, waiting to be transported back to our island. The galley about to be built in Urfa can handle that. There are two blockade galleys healing in Konya.
Both American landings were at the trap north of Salonika. The only other place available for the enemy to land is near Konya, which they seem to be ignoring for now, but I think maybe we should get a musket in there to deter them further.
Good luck, chunky!
one big stack o' pikes
