I'm joining this (btw, my guy is a Spaniard).

Name: Juan Cortez
Class: Solider
Skills:
Lucky(Innate)
Swordsmanship
Weapons: Two swords
Monies: $0

Bio: Being born into a poor family, Juan really didn't have anything in life. He doesn't even have a wife even though he is in his 30's. Not much is known about him other than those two facts. However, what is known is that he was a convicted criminal and went to the America's for a get-out-of jail free card. That is, if he survives.....

Neglect any mission posts I may have just given you.

From here on out, no new sign ups (or rejoins) permitted. We are approaching the end of Shadows, as most of the (total) Spanish NPCs and PCs died today.

Motecuhzoma Xocoyitzin has died.
Xiuhpili II and III, Juan Cortes, RFC's char, RSs character, and HJs character, are all also dead.

Herrera draws his pistol, and the Aztec priest falls. The lone Spaniard strides into Tenochtitlan, natives fleeing his path. Slowly, he climbs the pyramid to the top of the altar...

Shadows of Tenochtitlán has concluded. An epilogue will follow.
While, technically, the Spaniards won, I'm not sure that I would call one survivor (all other PCs are dead) a victory. Your call, I guess.

A link to my next planned AC will be posted here soon, likely after the epilogue has been posted.

Epilogue: Part 1

Herrera stands alone atop the Templo Mayor. Below, the Aztecs begin to group together, and runners are dispatched to other cities - no doubt regrouping the army, and to elect a new Hueyi Tlatloani. Some fighting appears to be ocurring off along the fringes of the city, but not much else notable. Turning towards where he entered the city from, Herrera notices a burned figure enter the city and collapse. In his hand is a tattered book - a Bible...
