EDIT: Oh, and even though it is federal, it is still Statewide. US Senate: Claire McCaskill (D) neuters "Legitimate Rape" Akin

We also proudly defeated an attempted increase in cig taxes (WOO!), defeated an attempt to make judicial selections more partisan, gave St. Louis more local control over their cops (I voted against that), and gave a little mini F-U to Obamacare from the great State of Missouri.... nothing big, just a little finger.

Well that little F-U to Obamacare will be big when the next referendum outright prohibits implementing it. Missouri voters will probably vote for that.

Also, please don't gloat on it too much. I can't afford insurance and my wife's plan doesn't cover me. Obamacare is my only hope of obtaining it in the near term and if it isn't implemented here I'll stay SoL. And you'll be picking up the tab if I get hit by a bus, instead of me paying for it through my taxes and premiums under and expanded Medicaid.

And yes, you'll be paying for my Medicaid through taxes too, but a lot less than you will pay if I got to the emergency room uncovered.

I didn't realize we had or will have republican leutinant governor. Doesn't seem to change much.
