I am interested in a proper modern NES, provided you can guarantee that it will live. I agree with Gelion completely - you really should be harsher. Don't let a few people ruin the fun of the game for the rest of us.

Alright here is the plan. I have need now of a good and proper nes map with every country put on it as it is today.
Also I am going to have postions for people if they choose to want to play a terrorist organisation as well as true insurrections. For the terrorists I will be ensuring that they dont get uber-powerful.
Finally I will be looking at getting current political trends in each country into a short Political Description for every country. If you live outside Australia or the US, pm me some info.

Ya I would send you some stuff on Canada but looks like Captain2 beet me to it.lol. On the terrorist thing sounds like a good idea just make sure to put good restrictions on them. If and when you get this nes up I'm for sure interested in this terrorist idea you have. Just pm me if you want more info on the great country of Canada.

I have a map from this forums that I dled that has current world borders. I forget exactly where I found it - some Newbie NES that never took off I think, but I can repost it tomorrow once my laptop is back.

Gelion also has it right, the United Nations Security Council nations will all be accorded to players. With these nations I will offer to players that I feel are worthy.. Of course if you feel you are worthy also point out that you would like to see if you would be offered one of these seven nations.
there will be numerous terrorist organisations but few of these I think will be playeable.
Also there will be the United Nations, and this will MEAN something. Failure to comply in United Nations mandates will be something as well..
I am also planning on current militaries and the like being used so any info on current dispositions you may have will help your cause towards getting this. Post on the thread up to you.
I am also going to try and see if I can work into the rules things for certain situations like the AU force in Dafur, the Somali Civil War, the NATO force in Kosovo, the UN forces in Bosnia, the UN forces in Lebanon and the whole Hezbollah thing, the Coaltion forces in Iraq, NATO in Afghanistan the list goes on.
As this could get time consuming to launch as I am writing a whole new rule set and thus although I have Gelion's stats and I will be basing the nes around these, albiet slightly modified stats I still have to ensure that the nes does convey the current state of the war as best as possible which is something that I would like to take time perfecting. Any help of course will be greatly appreciated.
So far I could only find one current world map and sorry to say not to my tastes. If anyone has one that could be given to me by the end of the week at the latest I would be greatful. So long as major cities are noted and borders are all correct I dont mind. I also want every country with at least its capital showing and this includes the plethora of island nations (so long as their islands would show up on the map)
