What will your course of action be if the Colombians choose to join in a union with the Venezuelans through a referendum that is held and certified by the United Nations and other international, independent observers?

To Venezuela
From the USA:

If the Colombian people accept, after your removal, and the reelection of their governt, to hold a referendum and join with your nation the United States will accept this. But it must be done in that order: Venezuela will remove itself immediatly, the UN will send peacekeepers to COlombia as the government in exile resumes control; there will be a new election (certified by UN) held to form a new government; it is then up to this new government to decide to hold referendums to join Venezuela or not. These referendums will not be forced down the Colombian peoples throats, they must decide themselves if it is to occur.

sorry for the delay, I just sent you my reply.

Luxembourg is distressed by your nations' seeming desire for war. We live in a civilized age, and we should pursue our disputes in a civilized manner. Luxembourg asks that both nations present their case either to a joint EU-AU session or to a session of the UN General Assembly.

The Republic of India would like to remain neutral in the Taiwan/PRC issue until further notice, though we would like to see a peacefull resolve to this situation.

This is acceptable. By February 2nd, the Venezuela forces will have disengaged themselves from the disputed territory and the United Nations forces will be in, and the former government will be in control with UN inspectors making sure no corruption or unfair . On May 31st, a new government will be elected. If this government decides to hold a referendum, Venezuela proposes it be held on June 28th, so that if it is successful, on June 30th we can rejoice because we are finally at peace and in union.

We request though, that you call off your Brazillian Dogs.

TAIWANESE CRISIS

The Russian Federation once again urges restraint on both sides. Violation of territorial integrity of any country is a presedent that can, and we are sure, will be used by others, and we must all consider this when we act on the issue. We have to once again call upon Taiwan, the PRC, and the USA to agree to not use military force and to begin diplomatic negotiations immediatley.

France holds a certain fondness for democratic revolutions (hell, we liked them so much we had two or three of our own within a six year period :))

We're a bit sore about anticolonial revolutions though. Hmm.

But since this one isn't against us, France supports its Taiwanese allies in their quest for independence.

You have our support and we will condem any Spainish invasion of your nation.

Warfare is going to lead to another Iraq. We urge you to restain yourself and try diplomatic measures with the UN first.

Taiwan has made it clear on many occuations they have no desire to talk. Our demands are simple, Taiwan must renouced its declaration of independence. Since they do not want to do this, we see no other course of action but millitary force.

To the World
From the Republic of Taiwan

We will not renounce our decleration of indepdence from the dictatorship of the People's republic of China. For 60 years Taiwan has been quasi-independent under first the rule of the Nationalist Party and later with the democratically elected government. We have removed all claims to being the government of all of China and we simply ask that the international community recognise our independence offically, something that many of you have done unoffically for many years now.

We will not back down on this as the Independence Act passed the democratically elected Taiwanese Parliament and also the majority of Taiwanese support this decision. We simply ask that the People's Republic recognises what is already fact.

Announcement from the Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea due to the threats levelled from the People's Republic of China herby is forced to mobilise its troops to ensure its own security.

Announcement from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea due to the mobilisation of the forces in the occupied South is forced to mobilise its own forces to ensure its own security.

Germany supports its Ally and Friend the PRC in the matter of Taiwanese independance.

We are open to talks with the Spainish and Morrocon but this must be done quickly or things may very well degenerate further.

Close Guantanamo Bay. Hand the prison over to Cuba. You have no right to our lands. Leave, it serves as only a place for you to torture the innocent and enact your imperialistic tyrrany on the people of the world.

Guantanamo Bay is legally ours under the 1903 Cuban-American Treaty; we have begun instituting measures which will bring the detention facility in line with the Geneva Convention and Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Is America admiting that previous to its current administration, it engaged in intentionally breaking the Geneva convention and the Uniform Code of Military Justice?

The United States admitted this back in 2006 by its own Supreme Court. The previous administration attempted to install a court system which was found to be unsatisfactory under the geneva convention and UCMJ. We have already made a statement (see other page) which has specified that we are isntalling a court system that is based off the geneva convention and UCMJ.

on Venezuela and Colombia

Turkey is appalled by the negative response Venezuela's peaceful (troop withdrawal) and democratic (referandum) proposal recieved from some countries.

on Spain and Morocco

Why don't you get citizens of Ceuta and Melila to vote on it before killing each other over these tiny enclaves?

Taiwan issue

We urge all sides to refrain from violence at all costs. Both China and Taiwan are argueing over a technicality and dragging the rest of the world with them into ww3.
