We shall begin on Thursday. We need the players to join but with or without them we shall begin on Thursday. After that we can post orders. Diplomacy though is allowed on the Diplomacy Thread.

THIS NES WILL BE SLIGHLY MORE REALISTIC WITH IT TAKING NUMEROUS TURNS TO CONQUER LARGER NATIONS AND GEOGRAPHY TAKING A TOLL. ITS HARD FOR A NORWEGIAN FOR EXPAMPLE TO SURVIVE IN THE ARABIAN DESERT
In relation to that what would yuou guys say to raising all incomes by 10. This would mean for the starting turn, you would have 10 by 10. So eg. All of you who picked a large 5cr nation gets 50 credits a turn

cut him some slack Erik, its true. Without the proper readiness, a Norewegian Army, or any army of that sense which is not trained or experienced enough to fight in a desert may not make it.

I agree. Norwegians will most likely be equipped and trained for mountain and tundra fighting, while a Saudi Arabian army will be equipped and trained for desert combat. It is clear who is more able to fight effectivly in the desert.

How can israel? Israel has no jungles or high mountains. Nor do they have swamps. .
But I think what sheep means is they can fight there, but won't perform as good as countries who are soley based in that terrain, such as Russia in the snow (fought better then the Germans in the snow) and Saudi Arabia in the desert.

US has jungles in Hawaii, other Pacific islands we own, Puerto Rico (which we own), and most importantly, the Everglades in Florida .

People can still fight everywhere it just means there is a need for overwhelming force in those situations.
