The gates of Tartessos
The waves lapped gentlly against the shore- the sin was high, and the great crowd of people was gathered before the King, silenced and hushed. a Huge congregation of people had gathered around, tribes from all over the land, the pennisula had gathered here drawn byt he nmight of the tribe; it was here, the gods had drawn them here to the sea, tot he coast to take part in a glorious event; the founding a a great settelment, the first of its kind in all the world, and destined, the gods promised, to be the greatest.
It was soon, that after the preists had sacrificed goats in honour fo the gods for bestowing upon them this belles land, that the King founded the city; upon the high Arcopolis, was ot be built might temples, fortresses and palaces, treasuries and artisans workshops, around all the people woudl make thier homes, the land, rich in farm land and metals woudl becoem the bastion of metlaurgy and trade for all the world, for with its good port, there was little doubt of that!
And so the majestic start of the City, and Empire of Tartessos began, a formal affair, even goign so far as to pre-pan the districts of the city, and the mighty walls that were to be formed around it.
Within a year, the the site cease dbeign a settlement; with the hard work fo the thousands of people magalimated at the beginnign,a nd the many peoples from all around who came to take part, to build, and live in the great city, it was oon flourishing; the art of copper working was soon leardned, and it was said that the cities master armoures were well on thier way to developing somthign even better...
The Tartession looked to journey baotu the world around them, to explore, to learn to trade, and to earn honour and glory; rapidlly, the Tartessians had gained a small kingdom by showiign the tribes aorund them how to form thier own settlements, and to pledg eloyalty tot he taressian throne becaus eof it; mor eover, agiasnt the barbarians of the region, they rapidlly learned the arts of war, and became proficent in its practice...
The Tartessian Kingdom was well on its way already to makign itself a glorious state, magnificent in every detial, destined to be the very living example of what ledgens are made of...
