Should I bring my broadsword to my new apartment or condo?

Ok, so here's the deal. I'm moving from my house to Madison, Wisconsin for my new job and am deciding whether to leave my broadsword at home(my parent's place) or bring it with me. Its pretty big and heavy but I really like it.

I don't think it'll come in handy during my job, but you never know.

Is there a downside to bringing it? I can't think of any. Unless Madison, Wisconsin has suddenly adopted Aus/UK anti-bigscaryknife laws.

*sigh* yeah I read it again and I kind of realised thats what you meant, sorry kinda owned myself. yeah we do get it, and yes a samuri sword would kick ass but the ide of a robber breaking into your house and looking up to seeing a guy charging him with a 4foot+ long sword.... that'd be so funny

If it is 2d8+3, plus stunning damage, plus additional +3 damage to undead and +25% to all resistances......then I say yes. Take it with you.

ofcourse you should take it with you.

It's from a tv series called the highlander. I don't know if it airs on British tv or not it or not. But it is about this guy from Scotland who was born in the 15th century and cannot die unless his head is chopped off. There are other people like him and he has to fight them. And during his long life and extensive travels he got a samurai sword and that is his signature weapon. It's an old series from the 80's and they aren't making it anymore.

If there's any place in the Upper Midwest for crackpot liberals to enact silly laws, it's probably in Madison.

Once I chased a burglar out of my apartment with a meat cleaver. It would have been great to have had a broadsword back then.

Take everything with you! When I moved out of my parent's place I took all I had with me to my new partment. Why leave your crap at their house? They raised you so you could get the hell out someday. That day is now, take all your crap with you!
