We should rely on the Mods to decide what an acceptable name is, or isn't.

They will take into account the context of the poster.

I just want to point out for the record than I only said that he should think about changing his name. I didn't force it upon ozscott75. I see he has a number tagged on the back of his nick....welcome to the club! :D

I thought Jesus was Irish:
He thought his mother was a virgin, she thought he was the son of God, and he lived at home until he was 30 :D

Palehorse, I purposely didn't mention any names, to me it's not that big a deal. I was just guaging the general feeling of the community. Rest assured, I didn't change my username because of your post or the PMs I received. It probably would have happened anyway. This poll was just a somewhat interesting exercise.

The number behind my username has something to do with my age, just as the oz has something to do with my location.

It amazes me the number of amateur psychologists in the community who read more into usernames than is there. There are many users who have names representing great people, places or deeds. I don't think this is because the user has insecurities or an abnormal desire for attention. Mostly, I believe the names are just names.

Of course, this also assumes that God is real and powerful. Many gods of antiquity were no more powerful than normal men, they were just recognised for performing great deeds.

I considered using Enemy Ace as my name,
but decided to use my real name instead.
