IT 1250BC: Delhi changed to temple production. I don't see where we're going to grab two more cities, much less three or four. We are already completely hemmed in. I whipped a temple at Karachi and change a few other things, too, including moving our lone scientist to Kolhapur. That town should be "moved south" a couple of tiles, so I'll see that this is done.
Early: Babs establish embassy with us. Yay, a freebie.
Aha! Babs were intent on showing us their new War Academy, named after Son of the Zoo or some such.
Middle: Our curragh achieves a GLORIOUS VICTORY over the heathen barbarian fleet.
We complete some barracks and temples.
Late: Kolhapur is relocated.
Sirian's Gap is founded out where we probably have little business being. I chose the most defensive-looking location for this gap-poaching venture. I am thinking that if we ever do get around to taking land from anybody, that the AIs who have settled over here to our east are mostly colonial stretches, sometimes quite far from their cores.
I suggest that Jaipur is thus the best geographical location for our FP.
TALLY
Units lost: zero
Units gained: eleven (5 workers, 2 vet spears, 1 curragh, 3 reg wars).
Cities: 11 total, 1 new, 1 moved
Buildings: 5 new temples, a couple barracks
Granaries: almost finished in several towns.
Tech: finished the minsci on Writing. Otherwise, my hands were tied.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
* I'm thinking we should obtain CoL and Phi ASAP, then minsci our way to Republic in fifty turns, buying other techs as feasible.
* Delhi and three solid towns near it all have barracks. We do have horses. Maybe we should pursue HBR and train horse units? Possible upgrades to Jumbo Dumbos later on?
* Three temples due for whipping next round, all in the east.
* Uh... We might want to pile some units into the Gap. The Mongols are on the wane, and the colonies nearby are corrupt, but this IS the ludicrous difficulty setting, and we may need to resist flip pressures. Our total culture is miniscule compared to the AIs.
OUR CIV IN 1000BC:
Loosen your guns in their holsters, boys. Bad guys are on the loose.
