I was wondering, how many lines towards the maximum sig. length do pieces of small text (like mine) count? I would like to know because I am trying to find ways to reduce sig length after being PMed by Padma.

The simplest (?) method would be to look at how much vertical space a standard, 5-line sig occupies. If you keep your sig within that vertical size, you should be okay. (Which means folks that use large text get fewer lines to play with.

*Apparently* (according to one unnamed mod) you have to fit in to 5 lines of standard text when a browser is maximised on a 1024x768 resolution.
At least that's what they told me, although it seems to be somewhat at the whims of individual mods....

Yeah there is one poster out here who's sig looks like a chapter in a book.
A poster whose signature usually outwieghs his posts may get custom attention from staff, and special a rule on the subject.
