Fanatika - Where did everybody go?
For some reason, my browser often forgets who I am while I am browsing CFC and I have to log in again to CFC. The only way I can find to log in again is to access a part of CFC only available to members, like the "members" section, or fake a reply somewhere. Am I missing something?

I'd really appreciate a plain "Log-in" button that is easily accessible, for when I am logged out. Even if it was tied into the "Registration" page, a section for users already signed up. Any way so I can continue browsing the forums as myself.

Thanks,
cp

You can log in at the bottom of the forum's index page

Thanks. I didn't see that little tiny box at the bottom of the one index page. Perhaps it could be more conspicous?

 Do yall not use cookies to log you in automatically?

Of course we do! (I do, anyway. :) ) But still, I will be browsing a forum, and decide to make a reply, when I am informed that I cannot because I am not logged in! Yet I was logged in when I opened the thread, else the Quick Reply box wouldn't show up.

It's not a major problem, just frustrating.

I've had it happen to me too, that all of a sudden I'm not logged in anymore.

Losing my identity often happens while I browse, not between browsing. I don't know everything about cookies, but it appears I have them always accepted and never automatically deleted.

My main point was that I couldn't find where I could log in. I still wish it was somwhere where I could have seen it easier, perhaps at the top of the page, next to "register" for logged out users.

My wish, also. :)

I don't think that is the reason, the cookies are still there. It seems like I get automatically logged off after a certain time of inactivity (like writing a very long post). I have already searched for a setting like "automatically log off after X minutes" but didn't find any.
