Your Casus Belli might as well be the fact Naples has a small part of it occupied by a random barbarian state that the Byzantines brought to keep Naples in line when they tried to eradicate Christianity?

By random barbarian state I assume you mean Taman, which is fully Orthodox and is our ally in this war.

Please, just answer one thing. How did I interfere with your plans?

OOC: Nuke has nothing to get mad about now. The house of cards has fallen, he knows the HRE's days are numbered. The Islamic and Orthodox alliances EACH have more EP then the Catholic alliance does, period.
 
lol. Perhaps it is the end of the HRE, but it is the Orthodox "Christians" who are aiding the infidel Muslims against other Catholics only to gain land. Religious wise, if your people have any brains, they would overthrow the empire and become a republic. One Emperor tries to kill them all, the next sends them to war with brothers to aid infidels. The honest true side has always been the HRE, I made sure of that.

Your "allies" are the Armenian snakes, the Sicilian rebels, The random barbarian tribe, and infidel Muslims who are slaughtering Christians across their empires...

Oh and don't let me forget! the Avar barbarian lords who came to loot and rape Europe, of course.
 
Actually, the Avars were conquered by the Tatars. They were the ones who looted and raped Europe, especially Venice. :p

Don't be so pretentious. You act as if you were entitled to use our land. What possibly could give you that right? You should fire the idiots who plan your wars, if they can't handle hearing "no" once in a while. Even better, you should start planning your wars in a way that you won't be reliant on others! Even the most moronic tacticians know this.

It seems the Pope dabbled in Witchcraft and worked with Satan, for how else could his spirit be communicating so scathingly beyond the grave?
 
When this game first started, I was excited to have the opportuntity to play a Medieval Style Nes, emphasis on NES. I would have put more effort into this war, but honestly after the "Attack on the HRE", I just feel like why bother. I've had a bit of fun at the start but it's quite clear the Emperor is on autopilot. Have fun, this isn't the game for me though
 
I'm really sorry for disappearing like that, especially after just rejoining. To be completely honest, I'm having trouble getting back into the NES. I hate to be so annoying, but I think it would be best if I quit this game for good.

I'm still going to read the updates anyways, however, as it's a fairly interesting world that's come up.
 
Nuke, the HRE could have been awesome. During the early turns we worked well together and I hoped that we can expand that partnership. Instead, after the formation of the HRE you descended further and further away, even as we needed you more.

It was fun, but I can't say that I'm sorry to see you go with a straight typeface. Hope you have fun in your other endeavors.

For the HRE, I would propose SamSniped or myself. SamSniped because he does all warplans anyways, and myself because I have that energy to actually DO something. (not that SS doesn't)

For other people I'm not really sure about their playstyle/situation.

EDIT: In light of recent events, I would like to warn SouthernKing that the deadline might need to be extended.

I've given a 24 hour extension already, and I'm willing to give more if it's necessary. I generally do major wars last so it shouldn't be a problem.
 
Sad to see you guys go. These next few turns should be pretty fun.
