Dreadnought: Pretty much. Precedent says that Day 1 voting is >90% pointless anyway. The point of the majority, at least in this game, is mainly to prevent Day 1 voting from actually lynching somebody.

(Sorry, I'm ending this 2 hours early, because, well, it's Day 1.)

Chaos reigned over the court today. The King, usually filled with pride, remained silent, stunned. Accusations were flung over who was secretly an assassin. In fact, if you were within five miles of the palace that day, chances were that somebody accused you. Years upon years of built up hate finally all released, like a great waterfall, in seemingly one day.

The cacophony of noise made it impossible to discern any clear leader of accusers. When King Mat finally spoke, it was that everyone was to leave the throne room immediately, before a full-scale war began in the throne room.

But even then, the assassins were still lurking...

Night ends in ~48 hours (I'm at a friend's place all of tomorrow, so can't update this)

End of Night 1​

The court awoke the next day to a scream. Two soldiers rushed outside to find a man hanging by a noose from the battlements.

The body was pulled down and his face uncovered to reveal a body with a knife protruding from his chest, pinning a folded piece of paper. The hood over his face was pulled off to reveal the dead body was Optical's!

Optical was killed!

He was a Courtier!

The king was called to witness it. One of the soldiers gingerly removed the knife, unfolded the piece of paper, and handed it to the king.
