Let's see her bonuses first and then think about that. It might be that she gets some unique options for dark/golden ages or something.
If it's not her then who else would it be at this point?

So I'm 99% sure that it's Tamar who's leading Georgia and that she's the "female leader that interacts with the Ages system."

LUA: something to do with Ages system
UA: Loyalty mechanic? Georgia has maintained its identity despite centuries of being surrounded by conflicting cultures. Also, maybe something similar to Ethiopia's ability in V? Georgia is small but tenacious.
UU: probably a heavily armored cavalry or melee unit from the Medieval era. Probably bonuses in hilly terrain.
UI: probably not a district, so either a building or improvement. Likely religious-focused? I'd say monasteries, but Armagh provides those already.

Just took a look at FB comments.
Georgia comments gets quite a lot of likes, however most people are still guessing Richard.....not even Wallace or anyone else

I'd say they're in denial.

Go on Reddit, then :p

Sorry, I meant to say I can handle everything as far as attitudes are concerned. I did not mean to include web design.

If she's not the female ruler who "plays interestingly with ages," we're running low on options here. :p

No, you misunderstood (or didn't see the comment I was referring to). I don't doubt she is this leader. I was answering the question if Tamar is the inspiration for the Golden Age system as a whole, as posed by @Wingednosering. And my answer here was what I wrote: let's see the bonus first and then think about if she was indeed the inspiration.

You know, something someone said earlier in the thread got me thinking (for Civ7).

Vanilla Launch would include ONLY ancient civs.
DLC in between would bring some dark ages / Fall of Rome civs.
1st Xpac brings us the Medieval to pre-renaissance civs
DLC brings us Renaissance civs
2nd Xpac brings us the colonial civs.

B-b-b-but ‘Murica!

There is a christian shield, a lion, and either the horn of Africa or the south-east tip of England, ergo
Ethiopia or (?).

LA - ages mechanic
UI - Svaneti towers

A native Georgian on another thread mentioned a clear UU that was represented in the trailer. I'm sure Eagle Pursuit would know.

Khevsureti Warriors

I guess the Svaneti Towers are a unique building and not an improvement, maybe replacing the Granary and give extra city defense. They could make Georgian cities hard to conquer in ancient times with rushes, which would make a bit of sense. Sure, they should be a medieval building/improvement. But I don't see which one they should replace in that time frame.

That's an interesting sword to go with the kite shield. It is single edge, and sure looks like it might be a Georgian sword.

I expect this may indeed be Tamar of Georgia.

I was thinking improvement, built on hills with fort defense. Maybe a bonus for adjacent mountain (but that might interfere with the Inca). Maybe different yields based on Dark/Normal/Golden/Heroic ages.

I've been thinking about this idea too but i'm not sure if it's feasable. Everyone would run out of unique units by the mid-game for instance.

But it's a good angle for a sequel to focus on key figures which "founded" the staple nations: Djoser, Pericles, Cyrus, Kemal Atatürk, Augustus Caesar, Clovis, Bismarck, Washington, Akbar, Tokugawa, Qin Shi Huang (or Liu Bang Gaodi), Dido, Rurik, Gilgamesh,...

The other problem, as i'm listing these, is that it's a full-on sausagefest, Dido excepted.:lol::(

I would've thought sword and small buckler.

They seem to have been found in the Khevsureti region where the warriors originate from, at least that is my understanding. Maybe at least one member of the unit could have it equipped and use it as a finisher animation. I could be completely wrong and they might have not been used at all for actual warfare, but it would be cool looking.

Yeah, that would be cool and unique.
