Snoopy's Terrain Graphics Modpack

if it saves you any trouble CCJ39, I found the files and got them.

And something of curiosity (anyone), why is there an "irrigation TUNDRA.pcx" in the ...\Art\Terrain folder if you can't irrigate tundra?

I never noticed that before. Can you turn irrigate tundra on in the editor? I haven't tried. Maybe it was something that originally was planned for, but they removed.

I didn't think you could, but I hadn't checked back in the earlier game.

@Exsanguination
Now the civ3 part of my games section is online. All files you can find there are in this forum too (at the moment) but I only offer very good files, which I use too and the ones by myself. Every mod has an own preview. Some mods are not available now, but in 2 weeks there are more. You can visit the civ3 section under www.ccj39.de (in the games section there; the page is in german, but the important words for the downloads are in english and german and the mainmenu is completly in english.

Question:

I've been a long time user of Snoopy's graphics, but I recently had to reinstall the game. So downloading the latest version with the more green options still looks great, but somehow I don't have the modified irrigation tiles.

Did I miss something?

Bill_in_PDX - d/l the old terrain modpack, and unzip the zip called "Irrigation" in the zip file. Got that?

It would be a lot easier if someone put those irrigation files in the new version.

Snoopy---So, I put the downloaded file INTO the existing terrain file?

I replaced the existing terrain file with the download, and all I could see were cities and units. The rest was black.

I'm going to try it in the way I just mentioned---I'll be back with the results!

My results---the usual terrain. I'm lost. I switched the "Terrain" file with your file---all black and cities and units. I put your file in the Terrain file, yet kept the stuff there---the usual terrain. My last hope---take the stuff out of the terrain file, then put in your mod.

Help!

I was looking at the ReadMe file again, and you said "overwrite all". SUrely you don't mean everthing in the Art directory, right? You mean everything in the Terrain directory?

Ignore my last several posts---I got it to work (I replaced them one by one, etc.). I have one question though---on your screenshot, you have little letters on each resource. I really wanted those, to help me find coal, etc. They aren't in the mod! What the heck?
