Snoopy's Terrain Graphics Modpack

Snoopy's graphics certainly are better than the firaxis ones, but there is one problem: the delta looks too ugly :| i never noticed the delta with the firaxis graphs, probably because of the toned down colours etc. i think that snoopy should change that, otherwise his graphs rule

Look thru the graphics mods. I think there are alternate delta graphics you can use.

Yes, if you use the greener water you had the fix at my sig. And Pounder has the solution for the blue water (at his sig too)

Does someone knows if there is a modded version where the deeper water is much more dark?

I really like snoopys mod, but the deep water can only be very hard seen....

Generally, there are only the standard green water and blue water versions.

The blue water tends to be very dark for ocean.

Thanks, I'll try that. So, I've got the scenario so it looks in the entire mod folder at the moment, do just put in a terrain folder and it will work? well I guess I'll find out.

I agree, if the deep ocean squares were a little darker this would be the perfect mod. Does anyone out there know if there is any fix for this, or how to go about making just the oceans darker?

Make sure you have the 'blue water' version.

You can always edit the palettes on the water pcx files after backing up the originals first.

Hmmm, i've got the blue one, and its still a little hard to distinguish between the deep and shallow ocean. which files control the deep water, and will i need to blend it into any other files to make it match?

I don't recommend you try it if you don't even know which files to edit. Location depends on how you installed the graphics pack. They'll be in an art\terrain folder and have names like WOOO or something.
