So whadya get for Chrissy?

I got a beauuutiful necklace from Abaddon, and I'm also getting a pair of glasses (which still haven't arrived and is making me sad !).

My real presents were a cooking apron, a dough hook for my stand mixer and a pair of jeans.

I also got this ugly statuette of a swan as a white elephant gift.

Money. That's it.

My daughter got lots of stuff & money's the best thing I could ask for. I'm creative so money is the best gift for me.

A turtleneck sweater (always a nice thing to have even though the winter is late), a calendar, long johns, chocolate, a hit novel and some money.

Oh, and a lottery ticket. The draw is tomorrow, so I might be a millionaire.

(My three-year-old got his first drum kit!)

Nice! :D

I got a splash cymbal for my drumset (no stand though, I have to work towards that)
Do Hard Things (a book)
The House of Silk (new Sherlock Holmes novel :D)
Itunes gift card
Icebreaker Sours
A journal (for notes and stuff)
Some money from my grandmother.

And we're going to England in April!

An assortment of science fiction/history/theology books, every Batman movie except Batman Begins, every Dirty Harry movie except The Dead Pool, cash, clothes, sneakers, bacon-flavored things, a small Stonehenge model, a statue of an unidentified saint, Portal 2, Modern Warfare 3, Skyward Sword, and Arkham Assylum.

I got Star Wars Old Republic, a shirt, a sweater, a trunk organizer, a couple floor mats, a flashlight thingy for my car, and last but not least in any way, the woman of my dreams.

A framed Calvin and Hobbes print (the first strip), some espresso, and a hefty gift certificate to Mountain Equipment Co-Op.

A digital keyboard, a ceramic kitchen knife, and a bottle of cognac.

The best present, however, was a letter from HM Revenue and Customs received the day before Christmas Eve, informing me that I overpaid my taxes in 2007, and that a cheque for five-hundred pounds is on its way. :D
