Hi there,
as I haven't seen a report on my problem I'm not sure whether this is a bug or maybe a problem with my graphic settings. Still it is repeatable and I know that a friend of mine has the exact same problem.
Sometimes when an AI contacts me I just see my answering options. So it'S a little bit like Jeopardy! While it's comparably easy to guess the question when you have an answer like "Ok, I wont settle near you" it's getting difficult when your ansers are "Ok, let's declare war", "let's wait for 10 turns", "How dare you?" and "I'm not interested" (freely translated from the german version). It's pretty clear that the AI is asking me to follow into war but I have no idea against whom?
In my case the Japanese was asking me and I only know who he wants me to declare war to was when I just tried and saw afterwards that I declared war on the Russian.
It seems that this happens when the AI is contacting me to "talk" about things (like settling near borders, declaring war, signing a secret pact etc.) there seems no problem when the AI wants to trade (like resources, open borders or tech pacts).
I saved a game and attached it where this happens to me when I click on "End turn".
Can someone confirm this? Or does anyone has an explanation to this?
Thanks,
Ranseier
