Sons of Mars III - Trollish Echidnas Not Included

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the next round of Blood for the Blood God!

Today we have a pipin' hot special! Japan and Ahasira versus Siberia!

Ahasira techs up to Army 3!

Japan techs up to Army 2!

Siberia techs up to Army 3!

Now, the natural mess begins.

Siberia builds an unstoppable defense - 12 ships on top of their current 4. 16 SHIPS!

Siberia announces that, by the time this is all over, Japan will be no more, given that its entire nation will be blockaded.

...or will it?

Fortunately, the Ahasirans need a navy to even reach Siberia, and as such, have built their own small fleet of 6 ships. Japan uses its leftover treasury to amass 15 ships.

Together, Japan and Ahasira stand with 24 ships. Japan sacrificed quality for quantity - it CANNOT let the Siberians gain control of the Sea of Japan, or else Japan's economy will cease to exist.

Japan strafes the battleships with its lone air force. It fails to land a lethal blow, but it does get away safely.

Siberia sits tight - it knows it has a better chance of winning on the defensive.

The Japanese, wanting honor, order all their ships attack first! Siberia gets a +1 bonus.

8-8. Japan has dealt a blow to the Siberian fleet, but at high cost.

Ahasira has but six ships, so doesn't move. At least this way, neither side has an advantage.

Siberia isn't ready to throw in the towel just yet though! Having a +1 advantage over Japan, they launch an assault on Manchuria. The Japanese get +50% to all rolls.

Indecisive.

The war could swing either way; Siberia has a wall of fleets and forts to intercept most attacks, whereas Japan and Ahasira's large armies and navies keep Siberia on its toes. Where will the Japanese War of Aggression go...?

Will it lead to anything productive, or will one of the three factions simply decide to end it all with deployment of the new, deadly "province busters?"

Coming next:

The Mediterranean War.

Pending France's, Rome's and Greece's orders. :p

Just noticed Angola is colonizing Venezuela.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Captain's Logs:

iotmedia.png

On the Bismarck's first leg of his journey visited the Mediterranean nations including France. The Bismarck cautiously sailed into the eastern Mediterranean sea with a diplomatic flag in full view to indicate it's a neutral party.

Later in the day, the Bismarck docked in the port of Jerusalem and the Chancellor of Germany disembarked to meet with Tyo. There the Chancellor discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Greeks and hopes that peace would return in the region. Germany has stated that it will remain neutral in the conflict citing that there is nothing of interest in the region.

After the visit, the Bismarck sailed to the Byzantines and met with Double A followed by a visit to Rome and France and then proceeded to sail out of the Straits of Gibraltar into the Atlantic

Tommorow, visiting the African region...

Therefore you should have no problem with me in Mediterranean Africa, considering I even started in Egypt.

Greco-Visioneer Alliance?

One Vision Orders
75 into M3
85 into Industry
11 into T2 PBs

Yes.

Tiny PBs are the only ones that are auto-unlocked, right? You should probably say how much it costs to develop everything else.

Well, this oughta be interesting... what could Son be up to... :p

===

Orders needed from:

-Rome (Omega)
-Greece (AA)

-501st Legion (Kinich-Ahau)

-France (Christos)
-Demon Realm (Yoshiegg)
-Britain (Ghostwriter)

Especially France, Rome and Greece. I am looking forward to mucho genocide-o, you know.

Yes.

I assumed.

The gold stays constant, but will be depleted back to 0 upon development. So, if you put 20 gold into Small PBs, you will have a 20% chance for every turn after that until you discover it. Once discovered, that research project is over and the gold is depleted.

Actually, Double A, the USSR has already accepted your trade agreement, I just merely didn't post a public announcement...

Ah well. Them Persians could use a trade partnuh!

Tier 1 weapons in Bio, Chemical, and PB alike are auto-unlocked upon Army 2.

As for prices, when first unlocked, each unit of a particular missile is easy to determine:

T1 Weapons: Start at 20, but drops by 1 for each nation with Army 2, down to 5. 12 nations had Army 2 at the start of this turn, so all T1 weapons cost 8 at the start of this turn. Once there are FIFTEEN Tier One powers, they are at their cheapest.

T2 Weapons: Start at 40, drop by 3 for each nation besides the first with a successful program, down to 10. So, ELEVEN Tier Two powers will bring it down to the price of 10.

T3 Weapons: Start at 60, drop by 5 for each nation past the first with a successful program, down to 15. So, TEN Tier Three Powers will drop it to its cheapest.

T4 Weapons: Start at 80, drop by 10 for each nation past the first with a successful program, down to 20. So, SEVEN Tier 4 states will drop it to its cheapest.

T5 Weapons: Start at 100, drop by 25 for each state past the first that develops that weapon, down to 25. So, once there are FOUR Tier 5 powers, they are at their cheapest.

Note that for T2-T5 weapons, each one is counted separately. So, even if everyone can buy Tier 5 Province Busters at 25 gold, if only one power has developed Tier 5 Bioweapons, they'd still cost 100 a piece.

That's right, you saw it right. Tier 5 weapons are the easiest to cheapen. Can you say Armageddon?

Bioshockmageddon. That's what will happen if T5 bio and chem weps are fired at the same province: Everyone will turn into Splicers, Big Daddies, and Little Sisters. No, it doesn't make sense, but does it really have to?

I don't care I trade with. I just want trade!

One Vision Introduces Psychic Frontline Troops

And Other New Weapons of War

Australia entered the news last year when the Visioneers tested atomic weapons in the Australian outback, along with biological and chemical weapons on C3 Humans. However, it is becoming more and more evident that other weapons are being tested. Pictured above are the Initiates. They do not carry guns. On their back, they wear a psychic amplifier. Their specially-made helmets allow Initiates to fire a bolt of flame from their heads.

Needless to say, these troops have become the enforcers of One Vision's Pacific Order and double as terror troops.

LasherTank_RA2_Art1.jpg

The Lasher Tank is the Visioneer Main Battle Tank. Despite the name, the Lasher Tank is classed as a light tank. The Lasher Tank is designed to operate in jungles and forested environments

.

The Gattling Tank doubles as One Vision's mobile anti-air weapon and is very dangerous to gunships. Small and easy to conceal.
*****

In other news, it is now apparent that One Vision is using C3 Humans as slave labor and according to some sources, a "power source".
